Can anyone honestly say they would not swerve given the chance - natural instinct I would have thought when an impact might do more than damage the car?

SATIN SILVER 370Z 'Z' EMBLEMS
Ebized replied to Asad's topic in 350Z & 370Z Z Emblems Accessories Sales
Bought a pair - excellent service from asad. Recently fitted when the other 'alf was out and I nicked her hairdryer to help soften the glue holding the OEM badges Also found an old pair of twezzers and bent one prong 90 degrees to help lever off the Nissan badges. Front first - you can see the lugs and the new badges can only be mounted one way (so the "Z" is th right way up) Used these wipes to help remove the old glue and muck (good for tar removal too ) Front badge fitted: The Nissan rear badge was a little more stubborn to remove but I don't give up easy And pic of the new in situ - again the lugs mean you can't put the badge on the wrong way round but once it starts to grip that's it! So not on quite as square as I would have liked but it ain't coming off now -

Ask Sly at Kaizer (trader on here) http://www.kaizermotor.co.uk/ -
Must be because of the block you added to the pedal to reach it?

The increased noise Will, was compared to the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. But really it depends on the road surfaces to me - no doubt something to do with how the tread pattern of individual tyres react. But where the MPSS score is in their road holding ability and particularly in the wet as those of us found during the last Wales weekend. They are clearly superior to the Bridgetsones and Sessantas from my experience of using tyres on the 370 and the prices have dropped to around £800-850 for a set of 4 to make them very competitive price-wise.

I plan to spend some time at the start this Saturday - and enjoy the smokescreens As others have said - get their early to avoid the worst of the queues - car parks open at 6.30 and the venue gates at 7am.

When I lived in Epsom in recent years double yellows were put around many corners, to address concerns about emergency services access being frustrated that had been highlighted by residents and the services themselves, after (non-statutory) white lining attempts to deter were being ignored. It was certainly in the area around the town centre (within 10 minutes walk), where commuters were looking to park free and no doubt the local residents v commuters for available parking was a factor that helped the Councillors agree the restrictions thinking about their next term in office and additional revenue from fines But as Dan says, it is a drivers fault if an accident happens although if the police were involved potentially they might at least take some action against the inconsiderate parker, if only a warning.

What makes you think it wouldn't sell? As from your description it has a lot going for it and honestly those " bad points" are minor issues and if they are the only things you know to be wrong someone could get a good buy - so research recent ZED sales to get an idea of a fair price.

That's 'cos the centre of gravity is much lower with you in a coupe all hunched over
-
Yes, is the answer, but personally I would use 25mm spacers on the rear as well - just for appearance sake

Does not seem to have the CD skipping/condensation and speaker issues that affected some of the 350 Bose - certainly on mine its been fine, and I can't recall problems being mentioned by others.

pic as installed: Spacesaver came from another member and the jack & brace from Zmanalex. (I carry the torque wrench (and suitable sockets) for ease of wheel changing, and to make sure the wheels stay on! ) Hi,did you also show how you'd insulated you boot area? Can't seem to find the thread now, want to do the same/similar. Other than the optional thicker boot mat (it was a free dealer option in my case) that fits over the plasticy floor cover, I have not done any other insulation in the boot area.

Think BH need to re-visit their risk management assessments - as they would be in deep shite if a accident had occured.

Cougar Store - Leicester Meet - Sunday 15th June
Ebized replied to MITZ@CougarStore's topic in Cougar Store
Nice turn out and a good variety of ZEDs there - great weather and food by the sounds of it too. Well done Mitz I believe the "maroon" 350 may be Interlagos Fire - paint code L40, but there is also the Brickyard colour - paint code AX8, both quite similar identified here: http://www.350z-tech...lagos-fire.html -
FS: Genuine Nismo Nissan 350z Car Mats
Ebized replied to georgerobertfreeman's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
Definitely for LHD - with the passenger mat 'up-side-down' in your pic -
The 240's, 260's, 280's are already often described as "classics" and I see no reason in due course why both the 350 and 370 will join them, and a are whole lot more desirable for collectors than say Micras, Primeras and many of the other souless offerings that Nissan produced for the masses but due to their age wil still attract classic status in due course. From Wiki definition of a Classic car: " United Kingdom: There is no fixed definition of a classic car. Two taxation issues do impact however, leading to some people using them as cutoff dates. All cars built before January 1, 1973, are exempted from paying the annual road tax vehicle excise duty. This is then entered on the license disc displayed on the windscreen as "historic vehicle" (if a car built before this date has been first registered in 1973 or later, then its build date would have to be verified by a recognised body such as British Motor Heritage Foundation to claim tax-free status). HM Revenue and Customs define a classic car for company taxation purposes as being over 15 years old and having a value in excess of £15,000. Additionally, popular acclaim through a large number of classic car magazines plays an important role in whether a car comes to be regarded as a classic. It is all subjective and a matter of opinion. The elimination of depreciation is a reason for buying a classic car; this is a major cost of owning a modern car. Picking 'future classics' that are current 'bangers' is a pastime of people into classic cars in the UK. Successfully picking and buying one can result in a profit for the buyer as well as providing transport. An immaculate well cared for prestige model with high running costs, that impacts its value, but is not yet old enough to be regarded as a classic, could be a good buy, for example. A change in the taxation class is due to take force in April 2014, by moving the cut-off date of the historic vehicle class from January 1973 to January 1974, thus including all cars registered and built in 1973 as historic."

Interesting concept on the Zeod - no traditional rear view mirrors, but rear camera with info on what the cars behind are doing. http://www.nissan-mo...2014/14043.html Just how far the car will get in the race though...........but 300kph already achieved from an engine that complies with the size for aeroplane cabin luggage (and a bit of help from a few Duracells ), ain't shoddy.
