Rare 1954 Ferrari sold at Goodwood for just under 11 million pounds, but interesting story & pics about ownership here: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2014/06/27/local-ferrari-sells-england-million/11495097/

No mud or rain today Saw a lot of smoke though pics/vids to come....... Looking for a vid of the Lexus that spun out of the second corner and continued spinning for a 100 metres along the grass on the straight in front of Goodwood House, amazingly without hitting anything - either some very skillfull stuff from behind the wheel or lady luck was around. Fabulous day.

Good to see that Amuse kit finally found a home - and keeping the OEM colour has transformed Hissing Sid into a well dressed 370 But what next, we wonder in anticipation

In Part 3 of my pics Will Saw it drive out of the Michelin 'tent' with Tim Harvey keeping a watchful eye
-
and a few more pics I could not fit in Part 2 Check out the paintwork on this beauty and a closer view and yet more Maseratis Sharknose I have not seen before Yep, you can hire Paddy Hopkirks Monte mini! And some serious other rally/Peaks Hill cars there too Hmmmmm...... was this a replacement for the one rolled last week with serious injuries to the driver, just a few miles from Goodwood - staff on the Mclaren stand had clearly been instructed to make no comment A car transporter like no other Finally, I don't recall ever seeing a grey Ferrari before, but it still looked stunning - even with a yellow stripe
-
and now random pics of just a very few of the hundreds of to 'die-for' and the weird, wonderful and just mind-blowing New Alfa looks gorgeous A Golf like no other When they fired this up Just for M13KYF Nice Most Masers look and sound so good but this latest creation was absolutely gorgeous - the detail was just stunning and another nice one - finished in what could be mistaken for Azure blue and more to come......

Thursday.........crowds made it feel more like a Sunday "Moving Motor Show" day - baiscally that meant punters could sign up for drives up the hill in their car(s) of choice if they were lucky (I was not ) although it was apparent most super cars were being driven by Pros. What that revealed is the huge difference in the noise made - whilst the quietness of the electric/hybrids was expected, honestly you could easily have missed some other so-called sports cars - the GT86s in particular were in dire need of proper exhausts - thank God for the Masers, Ferrari's AMGs etc Looking forward to watching the runs on Saturday - could get interesting with the rain expected But some seriously good motors about - hope you enjoy the pics - just a small selection to whet your appetites Mercedes celebration of 120 years in motorsport was the basis of the central display: More from Mercedes Bet the wheel re-furb businesses would love it if these wheels ever made production Moving onto the Nissan stand Think I know what I prefer here...... No 370's on display This looked Jag 220 size, kinda think it is more an insight into what the LMP1 for next year will look like Oh, and spotted part of Nissan's heritage nearby - a Datsun I don't ever recall seeing before More pics to follow.........

Yes it will fit OK but having asked if there are any chips or scratches, Humpy's paint is Kuro (flat black) whereas the 2006 facelifts were in Ebisu (metallic) - one of which I had for 3 years.

Really, just by changing the rims?

Sadly, there is a rapidly growing desire to make big money by whatever means scumbags can devise and they don't give a seconds thought to how that can devastate victims lives.........

Reckon then that Caroline has been flirting with the bushes in your local lanes

Vinson: To help you, you need to help us with a bit more info about your ZED. The pic of the crashed car here: http://www.350z-uk.c...following-part/ and that looks like the paint is Azure? Which makes it a 2002-2006 (pre- facelift) model. Your heading says it is a 2007(facelift) model but we do know quite a number of pre-facelifts were not registered until 2007, or later. If it is a facelift then it won't be Azure as that changed to Midnight blue. But then your avatar shows a red, pre-facelift 350? So to help Alex he will need to know the chassis number at the very least, but if anyone else on here is going to be able to help you really do need to tell us exactly what car you have.

Out of curiosity I googled the Magnatec oil suitability for the 350 and they list Magnatec 10W-40 A3/B4 for the VQ35DE (http://magnatec.castrol.com/en/oil-selector.html). So basically it will be a thicker oil compared to the 5W-30 you bought and should not be so susceptible to getting past the rings, particularly when it gets hot. But as you say the smoke was appearing before the oil change and what came out was very black it may well be it was well overdue an oil change and that had broken down, which does not bode well for engine longevity.....sorry.

Good shout as he is relatively local
-
What is the viscosity and make of the oil have you have used?
-
You could have simply bumped the original thread - no point in duplicating the same questions.
-
It could be one or more of several different issues - having used Tophooker (Marcus) myself as recommended by Mike ^^^ I can't recommend him highly enough to get to the bottom of what is causing the problem. Your experience with the problem coming back after 500 miles was very similar to mine - changed what seemed to be the obvious problem but it wasn't! Hopefully you are not too far from him in Cambridge, but he does also work remotely in the South East.

Thanks for the heads up Matt and the link - locking the original request given the latest asks

This(MPSS) is what I've been thinking I'll go for come Autumn, plus I didn't realise they'd be coming in at that price . What size are those you have Ebized, OEM I'd expect ? Yep, OEM sizes. When the MPSS first came out they didn't do the fronts in 40 profile, but then a set (with 35 profiles on all 4 corners) was mega expensive in comparison to the 'Stones and 'Vreds.
