I think you're all missing the real point - at present there is a tolerance in the fixed cameras, e.g. in a 30 limit you dont get done until around 34..... With the proposed law you get done for 31! Think how much revenue that can bring in...... They had to do something - static cameras just dont catch enough people now we all know where they are.....

Genuine GT4 Limited Edition - According to the register # 119 of 176.

Mine came without but after my dealer created a lot of fuss, a pair appeared and one was fitted, the other handed to me. My personal opinion is that after initial deliveries, the programme lost momentum and people moved on. Remember this was a NMGB idea only - didn't apply anywhere else in the world (as far as I know). the GT4 branding was only used intermittently worldwide - it was, after all the "35th Anniversary Edition" in Japan and the US.... I'm fairly convinced the 176 number may never have been reached...... Certainly Black ones are rare (or less noticed!!) and there are supposed to be 100 of them.... Still love my Ultra Yellow though!!

Have to say - parking on the hard shoulder is illegal - even for them!

An owner on another forum got a penalty notice for illegal numberplate spacing from a camera van - not speeding, just from the picture. Be careful out there!

I've averaged one per 18 months, so much better driver then me! You should try Oxfordshire - its vans everywhere nowadays. The other Sunday morning there were two in villages three miles apart (both 30s). They were also both targettting the same direction. Easy way to pick up 6 points at 10am on a Sunday. P.s. Came across one in the Cambridgeshire Fens recently. It was all black - no markings, parked on a dead straight A road with a 60 limit!

I use mine for work every day. I've done 70k miles from new (3.25 years). Plus I use it for pleasure (88 laps of the ring so far). Overall mpg is reading 23.3!

Steering wheel buttons are different on the Roadster ISTR. I dont think they have the phone buttons.......

Are you px'ing your zed? Nope. I love it too much (and its given me so much fun, plus its taken me round the Ring 81 times without missing a beat) and the previous car I loved this much (in the 1970s) I still regret selling.... so it'll stay. I'll have to take them to the 'Ring in turns!!!

I'm counting down the days to mine - Working all hours I can to make sure I've got the money to drive it way on the day........... The Race Academy day was great even though the rain was hissing down - and off to Nurburg for the re-run next week..... I love my Z and the GT-R promises to be very different and very fast. If Raikonnen gets no penalty for running up the back of Sutil at Monaco I have to question the stewards independance. Just imagine if Sutil had run up the back of Raikonnen costing him a podium position.......

Three sessions of driving flat-out. And I've ridden in one down a runway using launch control. I'm still smitten, and my delivery date is April 2009 - one of the first delivered UK-spec models. Cant wait...... the comments from the Porsche owners are just snobbery.... they just cant think what to do with the money it would save them

Be careful about buying a GT-R. All the ones tested worldwide and all 12 (or is it 16) doing their Race Academy at Silverstone have been specially tuned for high performance. Production cars wont be that fast. I know its true cos a 911 driver told me............
