I had this on a car once. Turned out I'd picked up one of those supermarket carrier bags that blow around our roads and it was snagged on an exhaust clip and melting onto the hot exhaust. Quite difficult to remove once they've started to melt......

Did you ask them about the colour of the undercoat / primer? I think using the wrong colour was what made my first respray look off....

I'll throw this in..... I'm an internet trader and we sell 99% of our goods by Credit/Debit card. However, every now and again we get a customer who hasn't got a card and whats to pay by IBAN. This whole process is a nightmare. Depstie being very clear sometimes the sending bank will take their comission off the amount that should arrive. Of there'll be an intermediary bank who takes a bit of comission on the way! In addition, the IBAN numbers seem to change every few months so what worked last month may not work now. Finding the money can be a nightmare, plus if the arriving amount is not what was required, a followup payment will incur a bank charge again. So an amount thats lost a couple of pounds on the way, will then find a fixed charge added to that transaction of, say another 10 euros on a nominal payment. And dont get me started on refunds........

Makes my time look tame - and I've done lots of laps and still above 9mins ..... mutter,mutter,mutter

And is not extra cost - sounds like they are going to try and charge the lease company for the part! If I were you I'd call the lease company and let them know its a standard part of all new coupes....... p.s. If they do and try and charge anyone then please let us know who they are. There are some dealers who seem to be acquring very questionable habits! They aren't in Oxford are they?

Got warned about this today but not sure if its just an urben myth.... Theives in range of your key fob transmitter can copy the signal onto their own device and when you leave then unlock your car.... Anyone heard of this?

Cars delivered new after a certain date (no doube someone will know exactly but I think it might be MY07 models) come with the adaptor as part of the car spec. Those of us who had cars before that date went and bought them when they finally came out. I think I paid about £95 for mine, which came from a dealer in the Netherlands via one of the forums.....

Dont let them try and charge you for it! Its part of the car package.

This isnt a joke but I used to have problems after an hour. Cured it by taking my wallet out of my trousers back pocket - no problems after that!
