I went there and tried to build a plate like the one in your picture but couldn't work out how to centre text on the bottom line. Mine always comes out right-justified. Also, the country id option seems to always come out with a black background. I thought the EU requirement was blue, but cant find an option for that. Or am I having a thicko day? JohnK

I've been looking at getting a TomTom 700 and today persuaded the local Halfords to give me a demo of the Remote Control facility. Interestingly, sitting next to the 700 was a 500 and, lo and behold, the 500 responded to the remote control unit just like the 700! So if you've got a 500 and want Remote Control, it may be worth trying to buy the one for the 700 separately. Cheers to all, JohnK

My OE fitted GT4 says pressures should be 35psi all round. Two questions: 1) Is that Cold or Warm? 2) Anyone tried varying pressures for different conditions? Cheers, JohnK
