  1. I have legal plates from best plates. if you select the right options you just get makers details in very small font in bottom right-hand corner..
  2. I wave at Zeds when I'm in the GT-R - just wish some of you would wave back - feel a right twonker sometimes.....
  3. For the SBS server ...... I've used the built-in Backup and it works fine. We've tested it to both restore the whole server (to new hardware) and to just pull down files we wanted to recover....... not sure if this helps!
  4. More tips! Keep it short and snappy - you can always add a strap line to elaborate on what you do - just came up with this one for "Health & Safety - Doing our best to ensure survival of the thickest!" When you've got your short name, before you finally adopt it, if you think there is the slightest chance you'll want a website, check the obvious choices to see whether they are in use. Then, adopt the name and register the web address - you dont have to use it until you are read. Cheers.
  5. On a slightly serious note dont choose a name that begins with "The ......." (or even "A .....) You'll get lost in directories and indexes with all the(sic!) other ones. Good Luck
  6. I flash Zeds but they look at me as though I'm stoopid..... (Maybe they know me....)
  7. R35 for me. 350 needs some work on it so will leave it at home. There's at least one more R35 coming !
  8. Not true! Your side Z badges are different.......
  9. Makes me worry where they got them from .....
  10. The list of Tesco sites with 99 keeps expanding. You can find a list on http://www.greenergy.co.uk/tesco_99_oct ... o_buy.html
  11. Its in the Radio Times - both Z4 and 370Z
  12. Talking of USB sticks - we've had several PCs infected by cheap USB sticks that appear to have something in their firmware or loads itself when the drive is mounted......
  13. I'll second this. Malwarebytes has saved a few PCs for my clients.
  14. Two weeks I beleive. And just so you know, any road with regular street lamps, illuminated or not, is a 30mph zone unless its marked otherwise. Other limits in street lamp areas must have repeaters and the rules are quite specific about spacing and positioning......
  15. ... its something about powder coating and its finishing process making alloy wheels prone to shatter at a later date...... I think normal heat paint drying is not a problem...... might be worth doing a search on it.
  16. If the paint is coming off I would guess they have already been repainted. As far as I know there hasn't been any warranty issues on these particular wheels (unlike the Rays). I've had mine repainted several times but once that is done the finish doesn't seem to last very long and its very, very difficult to get close to the original colour finish. My last paint job was with a wheel fixer in Witney (I'm NW of Reading towards Wallingford). A full refurb might need a specialist such as wheelrefinishing, but be careful - they must not be baked.
  17. I choke up when I see these parades on the news. And wherever I am on 11th November, I stop for a minute at 11am. Our forces are full of heroes and deserve full respect.
  18. Is that front bumper really Nismo? If so its a pretty poor fit to the bonnet - all of the nismo ones I've seen significantly close that gap....
  19. Mine? Well I live: West of Reading, East of Didcot - it started on another non-car forum and seems to have stuck....
  20. Theres a road in Stevenage in one of the industrial areas that also displays your reg as you approach - dont know what for though - possible to put off miscreants?
  21. Though I answered this ... Yes, Le Shuttle. If directed upstaris (first entrance) I always wave and point downwards - so far they've always waved me on to the second, downstairs, entrance..... On of our skyline cousins wiped out his front lip and oil cooler when directed upstairs a while ago. Luckily he knew a local mechanic who came to the terminal and fixed all the bits so he caught a later shuttle.
  22. Technique I use is to apprach the ramps at a very acute angle - seems to work okay most places, but always insist downstairs on the Shuttle cos there's no width there to approach the upstairs ramps.
  23. Nice to hear the news. When he's a bit better we should have a meet up there just to show our best wishes......
  24. Here you are Nixy - Ultra Yellow GT-R... Personally, I think the car is too big to carry it off..... Suppose I could try it with a wrap!!
