Wow! That one looks like it had an argument with a double white line sprayer. The Cambridge dealer put some black ones on the Tango colour earleir this year but it didn't do it for me. I think you're right about tapering them. The Z doesn't seem to suit the roller brush approach...... JMHO

One question that was asked and not answered was about handbrake turns.... I cant get mine to do these. I've assumed its because the wide rear tyres are so grippy sideways that it just wont break away? Or is it because I'm old and a scaredy cat (used to do it in my several other RWD cars)?

And lets not forget all the JDM ones have a GPS-based speed limiter fitted, plus I'm sure, lots of other things that will need modding in the ECU.......

As dealers cant order yet, they are not supposed to take deposits. Mine has a list which last time I checked was 37 long but wont take deposits until they *know* they will be a chosen dealer and can place advance orders. No dealer knows for certain they will be approved.... I was told Middlehurst had over 40 they'd taken deposits for - interest on £40k for twelve months must be nice.......

I think this has been covered before and I have a few favourites but the best has to be......... Nordschleife at the Nurburgring - 13 miles of pure joy! And one way too (so not much traffic coming the other way unless they're in mid spin!!)

My son's mother (ex-wife no. 1) queued for 3 hours in Stevenage yesterday at one of Lewis's book signings to get his signature in his recent biography as a present for our granddaughter who was two on Friday. Whilst she was in the queue she was joined by my daughter-in-law's mother, and the queued together for well over an hour. When they finally got the front, daughter-in-law's mother exclaimed, with some puzzlement, "oh, he's black! (dont judge too early ...). Turns out she'd thought she was queueing for ......... Richard Hammond!!

Dont really want rims only as I dont want to buy four new tyres...... Want 18s with part worn tyres if at all possible. Sorry to get this thread back on topic but what should I budget for? p.s. Might buy rims only if they are those from the Anniversary (GT4 and now Europe) model ...
