  4. How many points did McLaren have after Monza? I'm thinking of having my own Constructors Championship for this season.....
  5. Is is this just a case of the boss talking the rap....buck stops here etc. rather than draw attention to Alonso being responsible casusing more controversy. I read another report (cant find it now) that Alonso threatened Ron Dennis to reveal his e-mails to the FIA unless he got unequivocal No. 1 poistion in the team. When Ron called his bluff, Alonso backed down, but as soon as the meeting was over, Ron phoned the Mosley to reveal the existence of the e-mails..........
  6. My clutch has done 40k and on a recent examination (we wont go into here!) I was told it was less than 50% worn. I know someone who's clutch needed replacing at 60k and he drives *hard* all the time (with ESP off!). Not sure if this helps!
  7. The Tesco "fiasco" was only their standard unleaded. Their 99ron unleaded was fine, never withdrawn, and I've used it almost exclusively for 40k miles from new. I'm sure someone "technical" will be along to answer your question but meanwhile, as I understand it, the ECU remaps itself to suit the fuel. If I were you I'd give it a try and see how a tankful felt.... JK
  8. Thanks for all those! Looks stunning!
  9. Looks great. Can you do some more pics from a little further away so we can see the Nismo bodykit on an MY07? Thanks

Cheerio Dave. Enjoy whatever's next! BTW, What was your l/e number? I'll change the Register to say the car's moved on. Cheers JK
  12. Saw a Tree Surgeon's pickup with LOP 1T ..... Always thought there was scope with the 55 number but haven't seen many. I presume you could have PA55, PU55, ME55, CE55, PO55, MO55, MA55, etc, etc. I'm quite attracted to PU55 EEE
  13. Its a JDM GT4 which was called the 35th anniversary edition and came in black, gm and another colour i can't remember.... Has this car had a new bumper maybe? Look at the gap betwen the bumper and bonnet Sorry Sarnie, its the other way round: Its a JDM 35th Anniversary Edition which was only called the GT4 in the UK. Bonnet gap is quite common on standard cars. on Nismo bumpered cars it is very much smaller. JK

    They've arrived!

I think you're gonna have a problem with PorcelFarce if it was one package thats become split. The odd part may not even be labelled.... To be fair, we have multiple deliveries here every day from various parcel delivery companies and PF have got better over the last couple of years. I think this is mainly due to closing depots and making the old-style workforce redundant and opening new depots, hiring new people, with very different Ts & Cs. It used to be easy for things to go missing because their process had one set of staff loading the vans, and then giving the drivers the manifest and sending them out. In the old regime it was not unknown for a driver to arrive with an item on the manifest but not on the van - now I wonder where that went!! (This is unlike most anies where the driver gets the manifest, loads the van themselves and anything missing is immediately the responsibility of the depot.) Hope it turns up soon - are you looking on eBay??
  15. Nice and shiny Chilli Red JDM - Chatted for minute but there was a queue! Hope to see him on here soon...
  16. I'd like to know the difference between P and L though! JK
  17. Didn't mean to offend you mate, it just looked like it had been cut and pasted from somwhere, apologies No problem - I'm too old to get offended! Dont suppose you still have VIN details for your former? Cheers, JK
  18. 350Z GRAN TURISMO 4 – What is it? (Please excuse the uppercase, that’s how Sony marketed the game – see below) Well, for a start, it’s more accurately known as the Nissan 350Z 35th Anniversary Edition. Produced in 2005 I have found launch information for the Japan, USA, Australia, France & UK marketplaces. (Currently no mention of New Zealand or other European countries.) This was to mark the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original Datsun 240Z. The car itself was limited availability and was produced in three colours: Ultra Yellow (E33, a “metallicâ€

Cant post this in the above thread so posting it here.... Is anyone in a position to update the list with MY06 & MY07 colours please? (I know the MY06 are on there but they dont have the proper names...) Thnx, JohnK
  20. Cheeky S*d! Shall I still post the corrections?
  21. I think its the VIn they want. Stamped in the engine bay on the body pane below the windscreen. Also on stickers on top of front bumper, door pillar and I seem to remember one on the door frame under the rear hatch.
  22. The sliding was on the way there - not on the way back following you, Grandad! Tyres are Falken FK452s and only have 7k easy miles on them so I don't think they're the problem. Perhaps you should get some 'stones. I hear the RE040s were recommended for the Z! (Sorry couldn't resist - and we haven't had rain here for two weeks so the coating on the surfaces should be building up nicely now!
  23. I think these are all speculation - the first one doesn't have the bonnet bulge the new (current) engine requires ........ Rumours elsewhere say the folding roof will be Glass.... I'll just wait and see!!
  24. And why cant I get my hand in the seat side pocket when the door is closed?
