I made it in to the top 50 in the nissan free race challenge out of 500 applicants and 200 attendee's most of the people who qualified ahead of me were professional racers, GT series, F3 etc

i'd be looking at the invidia route for an off the shelf job, but its over your budget, If you want quality workmaship and under £500 then i would be looking at a custom built exhaust from someone like longlife. My XKR exhaust system was built by them very good workmanship. I used the guys near ipswich called Demand Engineering, i'm back there next week for some updates to the system, they are changing the tips for me to fit my new bumper cutouts. they are also going to be doing another forum members car soon as well and from what i remember the quote was on the right side of £500. there are other longlife places in the UK but i know this particular branch are very good.

What would you want one for? Your car never goes anywhere and your permanently stuck behind a desk! Well you could stick it on that I suppose? I used to be quiet handy round a track, and because the XKR is going next year there may well be a track toy in the future

have you tried the insurers that fit it with a black box to track speed and usage etc, that helps lower the insurance. also try the fiat seicento or when ever its called. maybe a smart car. i think if it has 2 seats and a tiny engine like the smart its safer as they cant cram all their mates in

bigger calipers come on the bigger cars my XKR has jaguar brembos 6 pots up front and 4 pots at the rear but jaguar logo on them. thing is the f type will work well on the smaller floating calipers as it weighs less than the zed
