  1. and the so called typhoon induction kit he has fitted, isn't a typhoon, and goping wheels,
  2. Defo mate , think it is alot louder than my custom H&S zorst though my old mr2 roadster had a custom H&S system coupled with an apexi intake and TRD manifold it made a glorious sound. Dan could hear my engine in his vx220 turbo travelling side by side on the motorway at high rate of knots over his own engine. it was loud but not droney, was a perfect zorst.
  3. ok you twisted my arm, will buzz you when you get back, have fun on your hols, and look forward to the test flight when you get back
  4. varis rear diffuser and you'll have him by the short and curly's
  5. i am slowly coming round to this exhaust, i'm not the biggest fan of slash cut tips, but the price is very tempting. may need to go for a ride with someone who has it, to see what its like with and without the bungs in. most of my driving is minimal, but i do the odd long haul, and i don't want obnoxious droning at cruising speed. so if the bungs make it driveable long distance, then i may end up folding and getting one i know ... bulletmagnet can buy one and then take me out for a test drive to see if i like it
  6. looks excellent buddy, am really jelous, i love that bonnet. makes your car look superb, really goes well with the lip. i shall have to get you the varis catalogue, as you seem to like there stuff
  7. Have resurrected another old thread. at least you all know i'm using the search function i am planning on debadging a bumper. i know there used to be a blanking plate you could buy, but for the life of me i can't find it anywhere. i believe ti was made by finalflag, but i can't find it at envy, anf the only link i have to final flag takes me to a jap page and i don't read japanese. so my question is A. does anyone know where from and how much a blanking plate for the front bumper is? B. if no blanking plate is used, whats the best method of filling the space. my plan was to layer up fiberglass into the space and then sand it all down. as hopefully its a fibreglass bumper (if i get it). have tried filling spaces on flexible bumpers with filler and p60/45 (the red stuff with fibre in it) but because it was aflexible section it cracked around the hole and made the work visible, so i had to hide it with a heat shield on my last car. any guidance would be appreciated
  8. sounds like something i'd like, advantages of going fast in your car, learning how to drive better, and less things to hit than on a race track
  9. i'd think you were taking the p1$$ and tell you where to go. if you've negotiated a price once, thats it, if you didn't get it right first time you'll know better for next. sorry if that sounds harsh, but i've sold cars privatly and that winds me up.

ebay is often a good bet, also try zmanalex i think he breaks a lot of 350z's for parts, he may well have some second hand at a fair price.
  11. a carbon bonnet, now this i have to see, you cheeky monkey, i know you were talking about it last week when you popped round, i take it you must have gone back to another envy fitting session and given in and bought that bonnet you were eying up nice work can't wait to see it

    New Tyres

thats good to hear, i'm looking forward to swapping over, just have to wait till my stones wear out. especially now as we're heading out of the rainy season, the stones will do well in the dry, am hoping to have the ssantas on mine before end of autumn this year.
  13. that sounds nice, where abouts did you get it from?
  14. i've had the pop charger fitted, and i now have the typhoon fitted. there is a slight difference in noise, not much, just a minor variant in pitch. for me the difference is n the engine bay, i wanted a polished intake pipe, and the kit i bought gave me that and a cold air feed from the bumper. i think it just comes down to personal preferece, i have designs in my head of how the engine bay will look and the typhoon fulfilled them.

    Bridgestones

check camskills out on the web. best prices on tyres, or tyremen are prettygood, as are black circles. i priced up 4 vredesteins ssantas on camskills at about £120 a corner i think it was about £480 for 4 tyres, toyos were around the same price and falkens were about £90 a corner and came in at under £400 for 4 tyres. thats wehere i will be going to get my tyres from once the stock stones run out. those prices are excluding fitting.
  16. if it helps on the xbox 360 on forza motorsports 2 the in the upgrade tyre section Avon seem to be rated the best. sadly in real life i couldn't tell you but if you want a nother choice the vredestein ssantas have had excellent reviews and finished 2nd in the evo tyre test last year. and go for around the same money.
  17. am liking the Stillen louvres how much are a set of them? also noticed several cars with gas struts on the front bonnets. where abouts can i get them from and how much as well. i much prefer working on a car like that than on the manual bonnet prop by the way, that looked like an awesome day. will have to comedown some time, but maybe leave the wallet at home cos it looks lik eit could be an expensive day, as i'm terrible at saying no
  18. no offence caused, it doesn't bother me, i find it quite funny, just means i have to try extra hard and get help from my family when i have to do CV's application letters etc. which i don't do very often most of my work i do on the computer which tends to be quite good at mopping up most of my mistakes. as for the spelling of gramma, or grammer prime example of my literary **** ups lucky i'm a tech teacher really and not an english teacher otherwise i'd be completely useless at my job
  19. Voldemort - get it right (coming from a harry potter fan to a teacher ) i'm the worst speller in the world and my grammer and punctuation suck while i was teacher training we did a section on dsylexia and how to spot it. thats when i found out that apparently i am on the dsylexic spectrum and display certain tendencies. i thought it was quite funny, i'd got this far in life and managed, my othe rproblem is fat fingers, i hit all kinds of keys when i'm typing, and then i'm too lazy to go back and change it
  20. there is also the forum whos name shall not be mentioned for they are like voldermote and would devour our souls if we alk about them there is another UK forum nissansports. some members frequent both, its meant to be a nice forum has simialr things to offer as here. my personal preference is here, its where i started and where i'll stay, occassionally pop onto the yank forums for a hit of the expensive mods to look at; like TT, superchargers and anything else weird and wonderful
  21. sound like a very happy and excitable bunny glad to see your enjoying the new car, and the nice surprise. look forward to seeing some pics. as for is a dual better. its down to personal preference. if its a true dual from manifold back it can offer more tuning capabilites if you go the TT route and have a new ECU you can see more gains. and generally they also tend to be louder. (but not always)
  22. have pm'd you Danny about the kit, i may well take all of the kit parts. but need to see photos of damage. look forward to speaking to you.
  23. plenty of popple and backfires, not a bad sound, are you happy with the setup now its all in?
  24. Hmmmm. I got an email back today and they say a Unichip can be fitted to my JDM Zed. They specifically asked weither it was JDM or UK, so they must have done some research on them lately. £399.99 for installation and tuning. I must admit, its tempting. There must be at least one person on here running one? Thanks. does that mean they won't do the uk spec one, or they need to use a different setup?
  25. i'd be interested to see what it does, to be honest if it gets it to notice and utilise the mods we add. instead of cancelling them out. will watch this with anticipation to see what you fijnd out.
