  1. if the seat was reclined back and then you tried to push the seat back it won't go as far, you will probably need the seat more upright in order for it to go back further. unless it wss already quite upright then i would look into leg shortening surgery if your determined to get in the car.
  2. wow some poeple have been on since 4pm, mine wasn't redirected until just about 10 min ago
  3. costs around £60 to fill up, last me around 350 miles with my usual 4 mile drive to work and 4 miles back. if i do long distance, which i've never done a whole tank on before i usually get about 450. i reckon if i did a whole drive long distance i could possibly get 500 miles but it would be steady drving. if i hoon it everywhere i probably looking at 250 miles but like said above, its a regualrly asked questiona nd searching will show you alot more answers.
  4. i actuallly felt quite lost without the forum, i even went back to an old one to browse to see if it would make things better but it just wasn't the same. i suppose its like going back to an ex. once you've left just leave it at that. i'm so glad its back,
  5. +1 Cant wait for the Nismo'd version of the forum! a nismo'd version, one that looks very similar but with minor tweeks and bits stuck on, but sold for 3 times as much i jest, but i love the nismo bits. if there is a tuning company for a car make i tend to use there parts, i'm a sucker for a badge. was known as TRD man when i had a toyota
  6. Blimey! Yeah just read that post. Must have more money than sence! i think if you read it again, she said she paid for delivery of the vehicle in full, didin't say if she paid for the car outright. my guess is she has lost transport costs and a deposit of some kind, but even then could still add up to a couple of grand.
  7. in south africa buglarly is massive, one of the worst places on earth for getting stuff nicked, especially car jacking. is johanasberg. i have seen car security systems that are fitted with flam throwers point outwards from under the sill of the car. another is connecting your car battery to the body work. or a tazer grip in the door handle. all seem great, but my concern is when they go off by accident, like when you set your car alarm off by accident would you suddnely insinerate your mother by accident as she waits to get in. ... actually thats not a bad idea
  8. like i thought maybe i'll invest in those dobermans after all, where did i keep my razor wire. i'll have my house looking like colditz in no time at all. actually keep looking at getting a good alarm fitted, but always felt that no one takes any notice of them. already have good locks fitted, in triplicate. safety fitted windows, and my 2 guard cats there like tigers just alot smaller
  9. must admit we live in a nice area out of the town, on the outskirts between 2 towns, and ours is a cul de sac, we have very little disturbance, and there are always neighbours around. we all saving up for an automated 50. cal to be mounted at the entrance
  10. i hate this kinda stuff to be honest i'm the same as the person above, if i found someone in my house they'd wished they hadn't broken in. i was told a long time ago that its suprising what you can get away with depending on how its put. the key is reasonable force. and self defence. if you found someoen in your house and you felt in danger or you thought they might have a weapon your within your rights to punch them/defend yourself. excessive force would be that once there on the ground you keep kicking them in the head. i'm sure they're are a few members on here who work for plod that would be able to shed light on this, but i'm sure that as long as you can prove that you used reasonable force your probably get a warning or a caution. andf judges would look more favourably on you. if i found some one i wouldn't kill or maime them just incapacitate and sit on them. wait for the coppers to turn up. might accidentlly break one of there legs, you never know when the mood takes you.
  11. if they had gone with a new interior liket he concept plans it would have been a good car. but hey went a slapped the golf interior in it. my wife has a golf it is a great car, but really doesn't light any fires; soul wise. its currently the same as the GTI and the top spec one is actually better than the golf GTI apparently due to its wider wheel base.
  12. just pm'd him this is too dangerous, late night browsing when i'm tired i keep buying things
  13. never go over 3000 rpm until the temp needle hits just below middle (where it normally stops) got told that by my dad, have done it with all my cars
  14. i haven't told the wife, shes asleep, and if she asks it only cost £35 and i'm selling the jwt.
  15. Pm sent, looks like i'll be selling the jwt pop charger if this goes through
  16. this is one of my favourites. not quite as beefy as the 5zigen, but a great sound and good price.
  17. i was looking at the turbo xs systems from USA, even now the price on them should be under £600 i think. looked a good system, gave stainless from cat back. plus it sounded good on youtube. youtube is your best guide on noise for now if you search 350z exhaust, or search for brands when you know what your looking for. will give you a good idea. plenty of choice just depends what your looking for single can twin exit, or true dual.
  18. i had a siesta as a courtesy car, it was god aweful ,hated it. but did test drive a focus years ago and it was a good car. hondas a pretty good, my mumm has the jazz, and thats not bad,
  19. rob at likwid art is very good i ran a group buy with him on an old forum for a rear badge we had done using the JDM logo. he knoked it up fine and it looked fantastic on the car. i was actually planning on using him soon to knock u pa n idea i have for a new nose badge using the tommy k 'Z' and similar at the rear. i was keeping it quiet as i wasn't ready to reveal the plans, but i looks like someone esle is having ideas.
  20. wish i had gone north first like i planned, and then dropped down. just not getting the wind advantage i want. having to ride out some really crap winds now
  21. if th ehole is in the top to let the smell out, and the eggs themselves aren't in contact with the material i can't see it doing any harm, but will start to smell in about a week maybe 2. especially if i puts the heat on in the foot wells. did a similar thing to a friends car, stuffed confetti in all the air vents, a potatoe up the exhaust, and gravel in the hub caps(note to others the gravel and drum brake sis a bad combination hers failed when she drove away, nothing serious happened, but she wasn't best pleased.) and we put fish on the engine in tin foil, just under the air intakes.
