  1. i'd hate to see the bloke with the longest nose hair
  2. if your not bothered about size the alfa mito looks smart, rivals the mini and if you wait a short while they are bring out a GTA version which should be interesting. i previously had a new shape civic 2.2. diesel type S gt. which was pretty good. had good touque and punch yet i could get 50 mpg
  3. my garage door is one of the smaller ones, i fold the mirrors in pull in straight, once the mirrors are through i edge slightly to the leftso that when fully in i have maximum door opening space. would also recommend putting carpet on the wall where the door touces to protect the paint
  4. damn missed the 12a nudity, least they left the camel toe in
  5. sorry didn't know about the linking issue from now i your honour i shall refer to it as "website exibit A" i was kind looking forward to a west side story rivally meet up, i was wondering how well martin and the other moderators sang and danced i shall have to leave my tap shoes behind this year
  6. fill that with water and you have the new local swimming pool. thats terrible. and to be honest with the recession councils are going to be tightening there belts and road repairs i reckon will suffer.
  7. Link removed by martinmac. whats this one? is this one set up by previous members, was curious so went for a browse, locked out unless your a member, couldn't be arsed to sign up so don't know whats inside. am quite happy with this one. so won't bother going to look else where. do they turn up to the same events. does every body between the 2 clubs carry secret weapons like the car club version of westside story, or the fight scene between rivaling news reporters in anchor man if i come to zed fest and Z009 will i need to bring a lenght of chain or a plank of wood with nails in the end

i hate to waste something thats not worn out, and my fronts still have 5 mm and the rears have 4. and the car has just done 16,000 damn things won't run out. had a closer look at my reo40's and inbetween the treads there is a small amount of cracking, is this ok, or is it a sign that the tyres are wearing out lifespan wise before tread wise?
  9. do sainsburies do high octane, if so i'll go there for my nectar points/cheap fuel
  10. i think the mini bosch one i have does that, i think it has to be self priming mine will run off water butts etc
  11. might take you up on it, am racing my dad as well, but for some reason i don't trust him to do my boat justice over a 2 day period, not that he'll plough me into an island, but most likely leave it about .5 of a knot below his the whole time
  12. be careful with those, i used one briefly on an outside tap, until i bought a screw fitting one. they have a tendancy to pop off if the tap is running but your not using the pressure. makes it more interesting if the pressure has built up as when it pos off it p1sses water everywhere in that split second that it disconnects, i know as i was adjusting it when it happened. i'm glad i was outside, can imagine the fun of it happening indoors. just make sure it is on good and proper
  13. have been using tesco, as its cheaper, was using bp ultimate. but to be honest they're fairly similar, and most fuels come from the same place. there are only a handful of petroluem distribution centres, which supply all the retailers. so they all use the same fuel. its just tesco sell theres cheaper as they offset the cost through the fact that if they get you in the tesco centre with low fuel ,you'll probably spend money in the store while your there. tesco maywell add there own additives, but additives are better than none regardless of how accuratly they are measured in. as long as its not full of crap, and won't clog my fuel filters i'll be happy.
  14. will be able to be on all week, but am away again next weekend. don't think i can tell my wife that i can't go to her friends 30th because i need to stay at home and captain my boat is there a mobile phone setup page i can use for the race on my iphone. i can access the webpage, but if i go onto the map, it just shows a little box
  15. is there a shift pattern on top of the gear knob itself, as the one in the packet looks to big to go on the top?
  16. fluckey 2 day non use and i'm still going in the right direction, martin gave me updates all last night as i was unable to log on. have changed heading and am aiming to catch up
  17. i was recoomended against the karchers, apparently they break as the water freezes in the pipes, even if its just in your garage... but i suppose that if its kept in your flat it would be ok. my 6th formers recoomended the bosch power washers, meant to be very reliable. i bought a baby one for £70 does a good job. could maybe have gone for one with more power but it does the job fine
  18. i like the fact that it says great for boys and girls... how the hell, when you have your backside over the bowl, and no light to see in there can a girl hit the ball. and even if she could shes missing alll the magic of watching it spin. for girls it must be like a WWII night bombing run. you know your over the target, but its bombs away and hope for the best!
  19. was thinking the same. might have to meet up and convoy it
  20. all this toilet talk has reminded me of something my parents used to do when i was a very small lad. i'm sure most of the guys on here will understand, and the ladies would have seen the aftermath. but when your a young boy, shooting stright wasn't always easy, and you used to get the odd overshot splash back. so to stop this my parents when i was about 6 put a ping pong ball in the lav. with a smiley face on it. and when you went to the loo you aimed at the face. i remember that with godd practice if you hit the side at the right angle you could make it spin, and if you were really good you could make it spin really fast. and because it was a ping pong ball no matter how many times you flush it never got flushed away. the reason i mention it was because thinknig about it made me smile, and i'm quite tempted to put one back in the loo bowl. not because i can't shoot straight (because of my early years training i'm like a toilet assassin) but because it made going to the loo even more fun
  21. Definately not turbo cars. Does my nut when people say they're car is quicker that something else, to find its a turbo car and all they've done is up the boost. Yes its quicker, well done, their a piece of p!ss to modify! Typical of Evo drivers. Still they shut up when their missus say they prefer the Zeds looks and comfort i agree wholey, i was give my opinion of my experience of the car, which is why i mentioned that it was only after it had been adjusted. as i said i was impressed with the fettled version. but to be honest comparing them to the zed is wrong, as they are completely different cars for different purposes. the zed is a GT tourer where as the vx is a track based racer.
