you may find that the steering wheel controls were disconnected when the headunit was fitted, as they might not have been directly compatible. but a decent ice specialist should be able to get back most if not all functions. but it may be the fact that the two aren't compatible and that you cna only control it direct from the headunit

i swapped to a stubby, the recption on its been fine, only the odd occassion on long drive through heavy built up area has it taken a little longer to adjust the channel its a good mod

merci bucket mr zedrush. as for the french talking on the amp, maybe its a preprogrammed testing loop. i.e. its putt on so that they can test an amp with speakers with out having to connect up a radio. if so you may have flicked a switch on somewhere or somehow activateda programme. what is the french person saying. maybe its the clue to turning it off?

i can't remember off hand how mine squirts, but the control for the rear washer is on the right hand stalk control, i think you push it back to squirt and twist for speed settings

just noticed you hadthe same cubby setup as me. when you had the centre console out did you happen to notice if the cubby and its door were one piece or 2 seperate pieces. i.e. did it look like you could remove the box and leave the lid attatched to the centre console. not to worry if you can't remember, it will just have to wait till i get round to dismantling mine -
sounds like a case of the rare french audioflu i don't under stand how your amp can be giving you instructions the amp is just an amplifier, its not a receiver of FM signal its like saying the teapot told me to shave your head have you set the radios of both of them to AM frequency or something?

do you know what, if i wasn't worried about putting on even more weight, i would probably eat that. used to cook a sandwich called the artery buster, was basically a fry up in a sandwich. but massive. don't eat them any more as they're bad for me, but was a popular uni feast

i had one done when i was at uni, my mates and i all went to a tattoo place. they all got tats but i couldn't find anything i liked, and as they were permanent i didn't want to rush it, so i had my eyebrow pierced instead. it was this process that i found out i have a severe adversion to needles, especially when they're poking around near your eye. the process was actually quite painless, but when i came out i was the first person that everyone in the waiting room stood up for, because they all thought i was going to pass out. needless to say, i liked it, i had a small ring and ball put on. but the down sides were 1. it went septic because i later found out your menat to clean it, but no one told me. 2. it grew out slowly over 18 months (partly because it was septic) 3. No one told me how to take it out. all 3 resluted in me pulling it out with a pair of pliers one morning as i was sick of waking up and finding it all crusted into to my eyebrow. still have a scar where it was.

that requires the kind of person who is lacking in brain cells. cos if it was me my brain would be telling me hell no on the way down. big respect to him ,but he must be a few spanners short of a tool set.

Summit Underbody Chassis Braces i am right in thinking its a 4 piece kit, (both pics) how easy is it to fit? and how much difference is it really going to make to my car, especially as i don't really track the car? i like them cos its shiny, and also i like the price, but i can't seem to justify me needing them? i'd rather have a plenum spacer fitted for more torque? oh decisions decisions

definatly let us know how you get on, also when its done could you scan us up a copy of the service sheet so we can see what they did

if its run by the same branch of muppets who run the ipswich one i'd give it a wide bearth. i will be using DMS for my servicing, would rather go to a specialist and have proper work done then a bunch of amatuers. its a shame to say that as its there car. nissan have built a great car, but francised it out to muppets. someplaces are good and others not. dan uses the one over at bishop stortford, they are meant to be good, but the image i get is that they are few and far between. what were they going to charge you for this?
-
i got an 06 gt with 13,000 on the clock in november for £15,000 at the time was one of only around 6 cars with the same spec on autotrader from a trader at that price. most nissan dealers were asking at least £4000 more for same car. i would say that nissan dealers are mirroring the prices that you should be paying if not in a decline. any savings you make over them is your cash in the pocket deal that you made. also remeber if you want a low cost car, you have to look high mileage. and alot of people don't do huge mileage in the Zed, some do, but lots use it as a weekend, or local runner for fun. and like said before, its often a second car, so when times get hard peoplea re sitting on them, and aren't in a rush to sell as they have other means of transport.

check the pin hasn't come loose in the hinge. i had it happen on my old civic. just pop it back in. requires a bit of manhandling on the door, and some force to put it in, but u should be able to see where the issue is
