  1. i vaguely remember some one having their rear lip carbon wrapped and posted pics up, try searching and see what you get.
  2. they have them on the project mu race car, look very nice. but i fear you may need to prepare to remorgtage your house to buy them
  3. blade silver GT 2006 pre facelift are the best oh just like mine then personally for badge credentials the GT4 as it was a limited run, but its not really any different to the facelifted GT as its the same engine.
  4. you'll like the mx5's great balance and weight distribution. and parts are dirt cheap
  5. its only the first one thats really out by 4000 miles, the second service is out by 1000 miles if it was a high miler then maybe go all out service. but most of why we service out cars every 9000 miles is to change the oil thats all. if all the services after that are spot on, no ones going to worry about the first 2 services. my trick also in my owner ship is to document everything. i keep a spreadsheet with receipts to back it up for every little thing i do, from changing a bulb, to having it serviced. i register the date it was done, the milage at the time, what was done and why. i found when i sell up its a big confidence seller as the person can read it like a book everything done to the car. and it puts there mind at rest. i did it on my 306 gti as the previous owner had done it, but never did it to the mr2 or civic. but am doing it again with the Zed.
  6. i like them but i doubt i'd put them on the car, more likely to go on my laptop at work

like i've said before nissan are masters of avoiding payout
  8. the race mechanic was very complementary about the royal purple, said i'd made an excellent choice and that it was one of the best oils out there at the moment, and that they use it in there cars and its not cheap told him i had a good source
  9. are you continueing the drifiting next year? and are you aiming to do next year in the mx5 mk1
  10. we bought in a very popular area which is surrounded by excellent schools in a very afluent area, and the houseing prices haven't really fallen at all. i think our house is still the same value it was when we bought it a year ago. our flat on the other hand in the centre of ipswich is still in negative equity
  11. are you thinking of selling your old one then?
  12. when was that voted on?
  13. i believe so
  14. think it comes in carbon as standard
  15. Thought i would let you all know how i got on with Team AFM who just did my P3 service at 23,000 miles. dropped it off, got a little courtesy car for free to get to work, and left them too it at 8am. the service took 4 hours and cost a total £223.24. labour was £144 or £36 an hour (consumables from envy were another £95) i supplied all consumables except brake fluid which i asked them to do as they had a special price on millers. they used millers racing brake fluid 300 plus which they use in their touring cars. 3 x 500ml at £46.12 or £15.37 a bottle i supplied the nissan coolant and royal purple 5w30 oil. PE oil filter, project kics sump bolt etc (thanks to envy for that ) they've done a cracking job, brakes feel excellent, no fadding or anything, they have been very thourough and i'm chuffed with the service. rik's a top bloke and really helpful and always happy to answer questions and showed me around (went to have a look at the progress of my kit) they may not be the cheapest out there but they know there stuff and they know their cars. i trust them with my car which i don't do easily A1 top notch job, if your in the suffolk area and want them to do yours contact them on 01473 624890, real friendly and helpful bunch

  24. at 22 you must have spent a fair bit of cash on insurance over the life of those cars. good taste by the way
  25. all our sellers are trusted, thats how they got on here. what would be more beneficial would be a members feedback, if you've bought from someone, you can add a comment to an exisiting member thread or start one if they don't exisit. but to be honest it would just be full of great guy etc, qucik delivery etc, and this isn't ebay. i think if there was a problem people just tend to post it, if its external to the site but Zed related, or go through the mods first if it is forum related.
