  2. I was thinking about the new Need 4 Speed, but if this is any good for a tenner I might get it ?? Have you bought them wheels yet ? nah going ahead with the refurb
  3. priceless, you could almost see his balls shrink up to his throat after that am so glad i live where i live, chavs can't afford to buy near me and there's no cheap rentals either.
  4. for ease of finding all you need go to www.z-store.co.uk you can pick your service schedule and celect what you want from the drop down menu, everything you need in one spot and easy to use. i did it recently and went for the 5w30 royal purple oil. others like using opie oils both are good. as for what oil, to be honest its a horses for courses type of question, everyone has there own preference, a popular one on here is silkolene pro S. but to be honest once your into premium oil theres not a lot in it. all will protect your engine and do what is required all the way to the next service.
  5. doesn't the blue dot mark the centre weight or something mine won't soon as i will be refurbing my own,
  6. don't take it personally, but have a search for gear knobs in the search section, you should find a variety of knobs, (and knob jokes) with pictures i have a nsimo titanium, there is also another version which is the titanium GT tommy kaira do one and there was a group buy. most performance tuners do one for the zed, but the majority aren't cheap. ebay also give you a good range as well. also check the US ebay and search "shift knob" to give you some more options. z-store.co.uk have a selection as does adam at Z1-auto.com hope that helps
  7. sorry i'm out then, as snetterton takes priority, have a feeling i'll be prepping for it that night
  8. +1 i don't bump just any old company, just the ones that people use regulalry and have been on here
  9. Mr2 ROC had a buyer seller feedback section, but it only ever used to say things like, thanks for the item, or great bloke dropped them off in person. personally it was just a load of space for not a lot of purpose. i'm only interested in the bad feedback and that usually gets posted up anyway.
  10. ooo do spill the beans
  11. i vaguely remember some one having their rear lip carbon wrapped and posted pics up, try searching and see what you get.
  12. they have them on the project mu race car, look very nice. but i fear you may need to prepare to remorgtage your house to buy them
  13. blade silver GT 2006 pre facelift are the best oh just like mine then personally for badge credentials the GT4 as it was a limited run, but its not really any different to the facelifted GT as its the same engine.
  14. you'll like the mx5's great balance and weight distribution. and parts are dirt cheap
  15. its only the first one thats really out by 4000 miles, the second service is out by 1000 miles if it was a high miler then maybe go all out service. but most of why we service out cars every 9000 miles is to change the oil thats all. if all the services after that are spot on, no ones going to worry about the first 2 services. my trick also in my owner ship is to document everything. i keep a spreadsheet with receipts to back it up for every little thing i do, from changing a bulb, to having it serviced. i register the date it was done, the milage at the time, what was done and why. i found when i sell up its a big confidence seller as the person can read it like a book everything done to the car. and it puts there mind at rest. i did it on my 306 gti as the previous owner had done it, but never did it to the mr2 or civic. but am doing it again with the Zed.
  16. i like them but i doubt i'd put them on the car, more likely to go on my laptop at work

  18. the race mechanic was very complementary about the royal purple, said i'd made an excellent choice and that it was one of the best oils out there at the moment, and that they use it in there cars and its not cheap told him i had a good source
  19. are you continueing the drifiting next year? and are you aiming to do next year in the mx5 mk1
  20. we bought in a very popular area which is surrounded by excellent schools in a very afluent area, and the houseing prices haven't really fallen at all. i think our house is still the same value it was when we bought it a year ago. our flat on the other hand in the centre of ipswich is still in negative equity
