  1. here you go http://tinyurl.com/y88csk7
  2. What mile to the gallon do you get Biscuit a billion miles to the gallon, so if i put 10 gallons in i get 10 billion miles to the tank. i only have to fill up once a century on country road driving
  3. was going to say a good set of 4 wheels tend to go for around £400-£450 so divide by 2 and £200ish for 2 sounds about right.
  4. never had a smearing problem, sounds like you didn't buff it off enough after applying, or put to much on. i use mine to clean the glass with as well as it strips all hte dirt out when you apply it. even on a washed windscreen the kitchen towel still comes out dirty. persoanlly i do find it not the easiest product to apply. and am hoping the PIAA liquids will be better, as they have a screen cleaner, screen protector, and washer fluid additive to go with the wiper blades. i've got a new wiper rubber form my drivers side as that one has worn out already after a year. just starting to smear slightly and not clear the window as well as when new. partly due to activating the wiper when the screen was frosty as put micro tears in the rubber.
  5. mine does a billion miles to the gallon as i only do space trips to the moon on a more serious note. if you look at your left dash pod there are 2 buttons on it, flick through the top one and it will change all the menus on the right hand gauge pod in the centre console. you should find a fuel economy measure there.
  6. with the poor boys i don't i squirt on to the foam pad and just rub it in, i don't even wipe off after, just leave it as it is. but then i don't soak it in the stuff it goes on and works great.
  7. good investment is rainex for the windows, improves visibility no end. i will be upgrading to the full PIAA liquid set but got to finish off the rainex first. the PIAA wipers are also a great combination with the rainex/PIAA fluids. i hardly have to switch the wipers on even in very heavy rain. its great fun watching it bead off
  8. You drove so fast back from the Ace Cafe meet, I had to slow down cos I lost sight of ya i got stúck in heavy traffic, and the old addadge of a time and a place and all that i don't want to be one of those drivers that everyone looks at and thinks tw*t because they are undertaking and swerving in and out of traffic. i pootled back because i iwas tired
  9. with my last RWD i was the same, except it had no ESP at all, i feel iam a competant driver and had good control of the car, and enjoyed getting the arse out on the odd roundabout etc. never had an issue until i span it out on a roundabout i drove around 2 times aday for years. it came down to being tired, bad weather and not paying attention for a brief moment. got to much arse end out, snapped to quickly did a full 360 and took out 1 white bollard 2 sign posts and stopped 1 foot from the barrier on a central reservation. i trusted my skills right up and till the point i wasn't paying attention when i was tired. i now leave the ESP on with the 350z unless i'm track side. it acts like the fail safe for that one occassion when i don't get it right. and just adjust my driving stlye to accomadate for the ESP.
  10. bridgestones are awesome tyres in the dry and i would reccomend them as a dry track tyre. but in the wet they don't heat up well and stay slippery. the only benefit of them in the wet is that although they slip, they still stay very progressive and easy to adjust. swapped to the vred's and they stick alot better and the grip in the wet is so much better, and they are still very progressive. when i had the stones fitted my rears used to slid slightly all the time if you pulled away quickly or the esp would kick in and kill the power so you'd have nothing to pull out on.which is slightly un nerving when pulling in to small gaps in busy traffic. since swapping the tyres not had these problems. what tread depth are you down too?
  11. for an extra £50 or so you'll get eibach springs which are top notch and do the job well. if your going to dfo it, then do it properly otherwise you'll kick yourself when you fit lower quality item that wallows or changes your handling for the worse.
  12. i use poor boys leather care. really good stuff, use it once a month, keeps the leather supply and moist. been really happy with it. gives new car leather smell after using it as well.
  13. i only switch mine off when i go track side. or occassionally in the summer for a bit of fun. but wet weather its left on. big difference i found was changing my tyres especially in the wet. with my vredestein sessantas the traction hardly ever kicks in. car is a lot better at putting down the power instead of just spinning up the wheels. i would also say i drive fast, but i have a very smooth driving style. so don't seem to kick the old esp off very often.
  14. little pricey for what it is, better examples out there. basically what sarnie said
  15. your such an ASW
  16. only thing that is likly to be damamged is wheel alignment and steering.
  17. i'd be interested, but i don't have £550 floating about at the moment especially with the run up to xmas
  18. notice it was 4 royal marines and not ford mechanics who managed this at 42 seconds the ford mechanics would still be picking their noses
  19. these are top quality mate, looked great, have them in my car as we speak
  20. thats not a sandwich, thats a stater for a small child needs sausauges, hash browns black pudding brown sauce in it. with beans on the side
  21. burn it, burn it with fire !!!!!
  22. i've done that occasionally but only with dry goods and nothing perishable. i think it gives the shelf stacker something to do i have found odd items in the chilled section though. the odd toy etc most times i put stuff back but there was one or 2 occasions where i was being dragged out of the shop by the missus, and only had time to swap one hot choclate for another and not put the original one back in its branded section
  23. welcome to the mad house, and remember all doctored photos of me are fake
  24. check your first post on tyres, just left some info in there for you. also if you come to the suffolk meet on the 15th of november in ipswich you cans see a variety there. might also be able to sneek a passenger ride out in some with different tyres to see the difference.

    tyres

if you don't like them put some new rubber on, i use the vredestein ultrac sessantas very good tyre and not bad price. others use a mix of Michelin pilot sports 2 Toyo proxies falken 452's the MPS2's are by far the best, but also very expensive there are a mix of other brands, but those 4 are the ones that come up most. the car normally comes with bridgestone RE040's as standard but aren't rated that highly on the forum as a wet tyre. i personally like them in the dry and they have excellent grip. but they are sliddy in the wet. but progressive at least.
