i keep more useful things in there, do just fine with the one up front on the passenger dash.

if i had a private plate i'd only want one with my initials on, not bothered about spelling words out. for me i just don't want a plate at the front as it makes a mess of the bumper. going to knock up a bracket to move the plate forward while still fitting it in the grille. so i'll be legal, but i will be able to take it off for shows and no one should be able to tell the difference.

I Think it is about 5 mm, but i over shot by 2mm trying to squeeze it in to the nismo grille. and to no avail, it still doesn't bloody fit.

well mines had the bandsaw treatment this morning, its got about 3mm left around the letters. will be wet and drying it at lunch, and then put it through the buffing wheel. would like smaller letters and spacing, but not sure how easy it would be to get away with. like you its going on the towing eye cover. will test later. i just don't want it to cover the typhoon intake.

i have 2 post offices near me, and my parcels always end up going back to the one furthest away, which is also the one that closes for a half day on wednesdays, which is the only time i can collect until friday. i have a engine cooling plate waiting for collection, if i can't get it this lunchtime, i won't be able to get it till friday

do they make the goodyears in the right size, i know the eagle f1's could only be got for the rears i think, but you couldn't get them for the front. don't know if its the same for the asymetrics.

without being there its difficult to diagnose a noise. if the car wasn't moving and you turned the wheel onto full lock it might have caused the sqweek, but how loud i don't know. without more info its not an easy guess. would need to know what the car was doing at the time when and where it happened etc. my advice, put the car back in the same place and redo the wheel turn manouver. if its the new tyres the their is the same conditions it should do it again. if it doesn't i tmight be something else. keep an eye on it and see if and when it comes back. might just be a one off.

got one pre ordered in the store but won't have it till i collect it which would be the weekend. i have a gift card, but i don't think i can use it on the website to get it mailed to me.

if it has a new tyre on it maybe that which squeeked, new tyres have a release agent on them and until they wear off it can make the wheels a bit squeeky, just like wet trainers on a school corridor floor.
