  1. someone on here was selling some ultralites on here for a really good price, and they are brand spanking new and never been fitted. have a chat with madmarky as i think they were going for about £700
  2. did you do the lip yourself mate, free hand. cos it look sbloody good.
  3. if the rain ex stuff isn't quite up to the job then the PIAA stuff should be. i'm using up the old rainex, must admit my windsreen has got better the more layers i've put on. but i can't wait till i upgrade to PIAA.
  4. excellent tyre choice, i run them on my 18's and very happy with them, great grip and feedback, no tyre roll, very firm walls. excellent wet grip. and still a progressive tyre. only thing i would ever put on my wheels now would be michelin pilot sports but as i'd never pay that much for tyres the sessantas are as close as you'll get.
  5. looks like awesome fun, do they do a zed configuration
  6. actually he's not a full member yet, he hasn't done the initiation test yet
  7. time to get some vredesteins on mate before you find a ditch.
  8. on here is the best place to start, club cars are usually very well maintained. piston heads generally cost more as people tend to ask for more as it doesn't cost to advertise on there. autotrader is probably the other good choice. easy to sort through what your looking for. as said above UK cars are easy GT or Non GT. only imports that have more specs, and i think they come in S, T and ST or something like that. best to check the new buyer section all questions answered in there.
  9. Well done mate, Get some pics up when you get it.
  10. What about drilling holes in your back box, thats a cheap alternative if its a twin can like the K1, then the K1 maybe for you. post up some links or youtube etc to demonstrate what your looking for. buddy club is also similiar to the K1, and would probably say it sounds better but costs a bit more as well.
  11. loads of colour changes on the US site. i will be powder coating mine in black with a red lip in the spring.
  12. here you go http://tinyurl.com/y88csk7
  13. What mile to the gallon do you get Biscuit a billion miles to the gallon, so if i put 10 gallons in i get 10 billion miles to the tank. i only have to fill up once a century on country road driving
  14. was going to say a good set of 4 wheels tend to go for around £400-£450 so divide by 2 and £200ish for 2 sounds about right.
  15. never had a smearing problem, sounds like you didn't buff it off enough after applying, or put to much on. i use mine to clean the glass with as well as it strips all hte dirt out when you apply it. even on a washed windscreen the kitchen towel still comes out dirty. persoanlly i do find it not the easiest product to apply. and am hoping the PIAA liquids will be better, as they have a screen cleaner, screen protector, and washer fluid additive to go with the wiper blades. i've got a new wiper rubber form my drivers side as that one has worn out already after a year. just starting to smear slightly and not clear the window as well as when new. partly due to activating the wiper when the screen was frosty as put micro tears in the rubber.
  16. mine does a billion miles to the gallon as i only do space trips to the moon on a more serious note. if you look at your left dash pod there are 2 buttons on it, flick through the top one and it will change all the menus on the right hand gauge pod in the centre console. you should find a fuel economy measure there.
  17. with the poor boys i don't i squirt on to the foam pad and just rub it in, i don't even wipe off after, just leave it as it is. but then i don't soak it in the stuff it goes on and works great.
  18. good investment is rainex for the windows, improves visibility no end. i will be upgrading to the full PIAA liquid set but got to finish off the rainex first. the PIAA wipers are also a great combination with the rainex/PIAA fluids. i hardly have to switch the wipers on even in very heavy rain. its great fun watching it bead off
  19. You drove so fast back from the Ace Cafe meet, I had to slow down cos I lost sight of ya i got stúck in heavy traffic, and the old addadge of a time and a place and all that i don't want to be one of those drivers that everyone looks at and thinks tw*t because they are undertaking and swerving in and out of traffic. i pootled back because i iwas tired
  20. with my last RWD i was the same, except it had no ESP at all, i feel iam a competant driver and had good control of the car, and enjoyed getting the arse out on the odd roundabout etc. never had an issue until i span it out on a roundabout i drove around 2 times aday for years. it came down to being tired, bad weather and not paying attention for a brief moment. got to much arse end out, snapped to quickly did a full 360 and took out 1 white bollard 2 sign posts and stopped 1 foot from the barrier on a central reservation. i trusted my skills right up and till the point i wasn't paying attention when i was tired. i now leave the ESP on with the 350z unless i'm track side. it acts like the fail safe for that one occassion when i don't get it right. and just adjust my driving stlye to accomadate for the ESP.
  21. bridgestones are awesome tyres in the dry and i would reccomend them as a dry track tyre. but in the wet they don't heat up well and stay slippery. the only benefit of them in the wet is that although they slip, they still stay very progressive and easy to adjust. swapped to the vred's and they stick alot better and the grip in the wet is so much better, and they are still very progressive. when i had the stones fitted my rears used to slid slightly all the time if you pulled away quickly or the esp would kick in and kill the power so you'd have nothing to pull out on.which is slightly un nerving when pulling in to small gaps in busy traffic. since swapping the tyres not had these problems. what tread depth are you down too?
  22. for an extra £50 or so you'll get eibach springs which are top notch and do the job well. if your going to dfo it, then do it properly otherwise you'll kick yourself when you fit lower quality item that wallows or changes your handling for the worse.
