i would say the ultimate tyre choice would be the michelin pilot sports, as they offer the best grip possible and i know several other track dayers use them and rate them extremely highly. the sessantas are about as close as you'll get while still paying only a bit more than the falken/toyo type price. toyos and falkens are good but i think the other 2 options are better. toyos tyre compound isn't as good as it used to be and i find the side walls to soft, and falkens are very good but only to a point, and mittedly you'll only find that point if your pushing extremely hard, and i mean super hard. so for everyday fast road users the falkens are good. but if your a track whore then i wouldn't. no point in turning this into a tyre review thread. as there are plenty of them already. but loads of info out there. some like the stones in o50 form other like pirelli rosso's, so lots of choice but for me taking into price and performance the sessantas are the best option for those that are fast road users etc and do the odd track thing.

its easy neither of them and put the vredestein ultrac sessantas on, problem solved

i don't think you'll find suitable tyres for you until you start buying F1 slicks for track days

if the rain ex stuff isn't quite up to the job then the PIAA stuff should be. i'm using up the old rainex, must admit my windsreen has got better the more layers i've put on. but i can't wait till i upgrade to PIAA.

excellent tyre choice, i run them on my 18's and very happy with them, great grip and feedback, no tyre roll, very firm walls. excellent wet grip. and still a progressive tyre. only thing i would ever put on my wheels now would be michelin pilot sports but as i'd never pay that much for tyres the sessantas are as close as you'll get.

on here is the best place to start, club cars are usually very well maintained. piston heads generally cost more as people tend to ask for more as it doesn't cost to advertise on there. autotrader is probably the other good choice. easy to sort through what your looking for. as said above UK cars are easy GT or Non GT. only imports that have more specs, and i think they come in S, T and ST or something like that. best to check the new buyer section all questions answered in there.

What about drilling holes in your back box, thats a cheap alternative if its a twin can like the K1, then the K1 maybe for you. post up some links or youtube etc to demonstrate what your looking for. buddy club is also similiar to the K1, and would probably say it sounds better but costs a bit more as well.

loads of colour changes on the US site. i will be powder coating mine in black with a red lip in the spring.
