  1. speak to P15ULT his business isn't trading anymore, as i think he was taking a break to focus on his day job, but you may find that he might do a set for you if you sent him your lights and didn't need the car for a few days. from what i remember he sold off a lot of his stock in lights a while back so won't have any donor ones to work on. i could be completly wrong though. other option if paul is unable is CINcity in the states who do similair work.
  2. good man rich, glad to see these have finally sold
  3. nissan stuff does the job fine, not sure about mixing, but maybe put a splash in just to get you to minimum, and then ask them to drain the sytem and refill with fresh coolant then there would be no issue. knowing nissan they will probably nod say um hm and then just top it up ontop of the old stuff anyway
  4. its a noise mod more than anything. if you want more noise then do it. only way you'll get a real improvement over the stock boxes which are very good is to find induction cone filters that come with an inclosed airbox. they do alot of these for the 276 and 296 engines but am unsure on if anything is like that for the 313. i vaguly remember k&N might do something like that, but i'm unsure if that will still be as good as stock boxes. if your purly after BHP gains then get some drop in panel filters. its cheaper and there are alot more options out there for you. if apexi do a drop in filter that would be my choice. others available i think are: ITG k&n hks pipercross am sure there are others but i'm not that familiar with them. basically if a manufacturer makes cones for the car there will probably be a drop in filter as well.
  5. looks like a tiny automotive erection very stubby
  6. i bought a 2006 model which was when the V2 came out with the 296 engine but mines only a 276bhp version, but i new that, and that it was a case of it being a late registered car. imho plate number means bugger all. what you should be more into if the age is a concern is if its low milage and well looked after. i'm happy that mine was a late registered one as it only had 12,000 on the clock, which means i can keep it for longer as i add the milage to it. if your happy with what you bought then just leave it. but if you were specifically looking for a 313 bhp with the bonnet hump, then you you should have done your research first. should never go in blind to any car purchase. if you were on the forum before you bought then all the info is on here.
  7. Enjoy yourself, and go to the startup area with tiff needel, really good experience listening to all the engines get revved up. When you get back telll me your favourites .

    370 Lights mod

never new that, was just wondering how the LEDs in the door handle works, sounds interesting but can't picture it. would they have been where the 3 square dots are in the handle on the outside. or on the inside to light up for your hand on the handle?
  18. martin thats the funniest joke i've heard in ages i reckon as a club with the zed we've paid enough in road tax in a year to keep the first 5 junctions of the m6 in good nick.
  19. really, you like the golf interior, my wife has one, i don't like it. its well put togehter, but not my taste.
  20. those carbon pipes were also half to 2 thirds thinner as well. i don't disagree that it needs to be tested, but i do feel that some people are out to troll or scaremonger on parts they have no intention of purchasing. before i get flamed i'm not saying everyone who has posted has done this and to be honest the majority of those that started off that way have at least started to be constructive instead of destructive with their comments. and as for tried and tested well branded parts, on my last car i had an intake pipe from apexi that rusted on the inside. to the point that i was worried it would suck in rust to the engine. i had to take it out and get it coated to protect it before refitting. alot of you seem to have this god like status of tuning company parts that they know all and see all and if they haven't doen it then it can't be possible. but this isn't always te case and sometimes they choose materials due to profit and not quality, CF isn't easy to mass produce and most is done on a small scale in comparison to the ability to weld metal. what about that header zman alex had that melted through and blew hot exhaust gases straight into the engine bay. yes big name brands to good stuff but they aren't the be all and end all and by no means should we be bowing down and worship the ground they walk on. sorry bout the rant but some people seem so narrow visioned.
  21. i can be if you want me too i'll be just like a real woman, i'll text you all the time, i'll ring at inappropriate times, i'll slag your mates off, tell you that you can't go to the pub, make you run pointless errands for me, and i'll never put out either
  22. i'm not worried about cracking i don't think its possible with this plenum i just want to know it seals ok onto the lower plenum.
  23. just a fat golf. they were so cheap they didn't even put in a new interior but just reused the one from the golf. then concpt version was so much better.
