  1. he text me earlier; i have informed him £600 is my lowest offer. and i've left it with him, when the fresh weather comes back i shall pop them up on ebay. but for now they shall stay nicely wrapped up in safety
  2. not desperate to sell they are quiet happily sat in the garage. i think my reply will be £600 is the lowest i plan to go; so he can either take it or leave it
  3. really? ok peeps my personal valuation was that if the wheels were brand new then i would have asked for £800-£900 but they need a refurb, i told him of a place that i use near him that would do a full refurb for £200. so taking that into account i asked £750-£700 after seeing his facial expression i asked what he was looking to pay. his responce £500-£550 i said the lowest i could take was £600 although i would prefer £650, but he should drop me an email tonight and i'd have a think about it. this also includes after market wheel nuts
  4. those have been up for sale for over 6 months now. there was an individual set that were going for £450 a wheel. but they were pristine brand new in box.
  5. the superleggera was replaced with the ultraleggera, a new set of the ultras are £1400 ish but actually weigh more than the supers. this is the thing, these are proper light weight racing wheels. not heavy copies. i'll get a few more responces in from people and then i'll share what i thought a sensible price was.
  6. Just wanted some feedback from others to see if they come out around the same as me, so that i know that i'm not taking the pi$$. My old S2000 wheels are in the garage waiting to be sold. bloke contacted me today to have a look. we got down to money and i feel like he wants me to give them away. The Wheels 18" OZ Racing SuperLeggera's in black; when new i believe they cost just under £1500 for a set of 4 with out tyres, these wheels are now discontinued and are impossibly difficult to get hold of. mine have nearly new falken 452's on but the wheels need a slight refurb as there is some curbing question is....what do you lot think is a sensible price for these wheels...i'll get a few peoples responces in and then i'll tell you what i asked; and what he offered; be interesting to see where we all came out.
  7. graffiti of futura i think you can basically go to some wrapping companies with an idea and they will reproduce it for you the image needs to be high res as they enlarge it.
  8. if you pulled the joint off thats most likely your trouble spot.
  9. that was this company http://printempire.co.uk/index.php?main ... cts_id=172
  10. dry joints are a pain to find a risky move is to back the circuit, it melts all the solder joints and when taken out and cooled they hopefully are all in place. did you use flux when you did it?
  11. they can print on to vinyl, so you could find the images you like want, or a graffiti style, have it blown up printed onto vinyl and then wrapped around your car.
  12. what did you replace them with? sounds like either a thermal issue or a dodgy connection.
  13. conti's and eagles both very good tyres, eagles do have a habit of wearing quickly though.
  14. i'd still take the jag over the GTR, might not be as fast but it looks better (personal taste i know) and i prefer the jag interior (again personal taste) and i bet its less of an issue to fix out of warranty than the GTR is. if i had the cash though i'd get the XKR S
  15. i have about 3 episodes of season 2 to watch, i'm just struggling to find the enthusiasm to watch them. they are good, but i find the plot a little slow moving
  16. thanks guys for my birthday messages, had a great time; my wife organised a suprise party, had a cracking dya and night, and lots of awesome presents.
  17. i bought mine from openeo as they were cheaper than camskills for 20" tyres, but i find different sellers are better for different sizes.
  18. usually bolt it/clamp it to the spring
  19. not come across this kit before, looks good
