  5. my jag is no where near fault free, if something doesn't need to be fixed on it then i get suspicious something expensive is about to break. but all the stuff i've done so far has been low cost. and thats on an 11 year old jag. the only manufacturer i've had thats been fault free has been the honda. had 2 now and both have been perfect. not an ounce gone wrong, i think all i needed was a new fob battery and thats it. Pug, nissan, toyota, rover, all had big faults although toyota were very east to deal with. as for my wifes cars the VW and the Volvo have been spotless, but her hyundai, and her mums and my dads have been crap. and so was her toyota. there are very few i think in the industry who get it right. and some are worse than others. but have to say Volvo and VW and honda have been brilliant,

  7. sorry to see you're having another rough run of it. JLR aren't on their own though when it comes to faults with new cars, My wife bought a new IX35 from hyundai a while back it spent more time in the workshop becuase of a lock fault that they couldn't find, to the point that she got a new car. she then sold it and got a new volvo which so far has been faultless. i had issues with my 350z in warranty and nissan were usless. JLR aren't on their own with poor build quality and faults. as for my father in laws 2 freelanders he has had from new they have been trouble free and not an issue.

  9. it might be possible to get a smart repair done on it for anywhere between £80 and £150, but if you want it done properly then a bodyshop will charge you roughly £250-£450 for a rear bumper if the smart repair people near you have a good rep they can be good, but some of these franchises are only as good as the person using it. and they only have about a 12 month warranty on the work. most bodyshops its a lifetime warranty on the paint work, or it is at mine anyway.
  10. something like this might do it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jetex-Univers ... 45fd19f557 jetex are a pretty good make, would need welding in. if you like quality though look up the manufacturer of the cherry bomb exhaust, they make some nifty silencers. and very slimline.
  11. they aren't a member on here; i don't know what the final outcome was all i know was they had a shine bumper that even after it going to a bodyshop there was no hope in a month of sundays that it was ever going to fit. and that was the bodyshops opinion. never saw the unit, or the fit just know that it was shine and it had a major issue.
  12. double jep was designed to make sure that if you were taking someone to trial you did it right first time, because of the DJ ruling you had to make sure you put together the strongest case first time. and saved on half ass cases being raised. as for the writer of the original article, he writes for the daily mail, so what do you expect, its not a proper newspaper its a tabloid scare mongerer. as long as the courts continue to put decent cases forward i have no problem with the changes.
  13. a machine polisher is your best bet, either with something like ultimate compound or swirlx. if they don't work, something like PB black hole glaze can help. it won;t fix it but hides fine scratches very well.
  14. I believe all the work has been carried out by CS that includes all the mods, and i think the repair work that was done as well.
  15. Congrats on becoming a proper Zedder
  16. *edit* just read cragus post speak to the seller and check all fitment instyructions if still a bad fit, take it up with them,
