  1. if they take the route the US are by investing heavily in public infastructure, thus creating jobs and increasing spending etc it might work, but to be honest i think the system is going to come crashing down around their ears.
  2. if it was me i would have bought Fastfu's rays wheels for £500 the falken ze19 are ok for normal cars, they'll be ok on the zed but not as good as the 452's but those jamaras look heavy as hell. and a bit halfraudy
  3. this could be the final nail in the coffin for Europe. depending on what le pen does, and which way france goes, they could drag the whole of europe done, might even kill the euro.
  4. i love waitrose, they deliver for free as well
  5. put some pictures up its like trying to diagnose an illness blind with the patient in the other room. my advise take it to a garage.
  6. if all the hoses and the rad are fine then possibly yes you can go to uni. your car your choice it will only take you 5 min to open the bonnet and look step 1 open bonnet step 2 take lid off coolant step 3 peer inside and see if there is any fluid step 4 if no fluid, check all the hoses step 5 check rad step 6 if still not sure pour water in through now open coolant bottle, and wait to see water come out. step 7 look where water is coming from step 8 tell us, or ring your local garage.
  7. dammit ekona beat me too it
  8. just did the conversion, i'm guessing you meant KMph which would put you at about 120mph as has been said above, might be aircon shifting the condensation. check your coolant level first. this will rule out all kinds of issues. or highlight the obvious
  9. 196 mph ? car doesn;t go that fast unless thats not a stock engine? guessing speed limits are different over there? as for huge puddle and fluid loss, have you checked the coolant level? it might not be the coolant but my money is on something going pop. a hose come loose or something gave way, you'll need to get in and check all the hoses and connectors, my first check would be where it connects to the rad. did something go through the rad? at that speed it would have oblitorated the rad. an easy way to check is poor water in and watch where it pi$$es out
  10. i ordered 2 and i don't even have an ipod
  11. i don't mind the old DB7 backside i'm sure there must be some light upgrades for it, but yes for the money i'd have the latest shape XK wouldn't mind upgrading to the new shape at some point. some great bargins to be had with them
  12. that amazon one looks good. think the ebay one is the next model up not sure. but the one thing i found with snow foam is the more pressure it supplies the better the foam. the 2 links below show the c120 and a suitable snow foam lance that matches it.
  13. or just order online and save the hassle
  14. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Nilfisk-C ... 3cc19046cc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-WASH-KEW- ... 2a0b35bc85 job done
  15. if the super market employed a clamping firm and it was well sign posted than non blue badge holders would be clamped then they could possibly do something. but with the recent changes to private clamping laws i don't think they can do much.
  16. thats true on council owned roads etc, but supermarket carparks are private property, so has no juristiction. so for the same reason if you get a fine from them for over staying your welcome in them liek some are doing now the most they can do is threaten you with baliffs, but they can;t actually use them as there is no legal basis for it. so you just put the letters in the bin.
  17. i love the XJ's but they rot out horribly and are not easy to maintain. they make my car look like a veritable bargain when it comes to maintanence
  18. completely true bocaaarck; its why i bought the XKR; the DB7 took styling cues from the jag and was built by the same people etc.
  19. we do our weekly shop on line at waitrose, but pop in on the run to the local supermarket for the odd bits. but i agree, i hate mixing with the commoners; they pi$$ me right off
  20. i'll be stag doo'ing it up there in august. depends on what your groups tastes are. I did a stag do a few years ago there. if you like indie music then there are lots of great indie clubs etc, Canal street is the gay hub of manchester, but its a really good night out there; straight or gay. theres also a few strip joints there as well. if you like mountain bikes you've got some great tracks on the door step. paintballing, go karting, loads of stuff round there.
  21. have you got welding equipment down there as well? i want to do some big style de rusting but just don't have the space. and having some moral support when you take power saws to a car would be good
  22. you need to spend a bit of your night down canal street,
  23. cheers for the heads up on that chesterfield i didn't know that
