  1. Welcome Got a good looking Zed and a pretty awesome sounding car history.
  2. Yeah so when i first got the car i was jumping straight to ignition so the 3rd click. Found out you are supposed to sit on the 2nd click for a second to get power to the pump, pump gets up to pressure then you can start the car. Ive had no issues starting since I started doing that, it used to struggle a lot when i started it right away im assuming because it was essentially running low pressure for a second and the air fuel mix was wrong. Im not a mechanic though so I could be entirely wrong. Although another entirely random idea could it be the sensor that detects if the clutch is depressed? Since it needs to be down to start the car?
  3. I know it sounds dumb but im only saying because i was doing it myself. Are you giving the fuel pump a second or two to prime? When i first got my Zed i was turning all the way to ignition right away and wasnt entirely sure why my engine was really struggling to startup. Doesnt seem to matter as much in small displacement cars but my Zed utterly hated it. Sorry if its a dumb suggestion xD
  4. That sucks so much, sorry to hear :/ Makes no sense to me why it would happen but im not a mechanic
  5. Wait rod bearings cost 7K? O.o that or what the hell did they take with them
  6. Besides im not sure my body shop can sort the scrape on my bumper before then so you are practically guaranteed not to have the worst looking Zed there xD.
  7. That sucks so much :/ Sorry it went down like that. My best advice would be talk to a local body shop and see if they are willing to attempt the work or not or maybe talk to the traders on here about options for a new panel or maybe they have their own go to guys for body work. Zmanalex springs to mind, seems to be the go to guy for almost anything Z related .
  8. It all comes down to you really. Do you still enjoy the time you spend with it? Would you replace it with something else? Will you prefer what you replace it with? Maybe you can be a bit less stringent with the days you drive her out maybe? Or just keep to the very best days to keep the best experience. I'm probably on course for 10-12K over a year but my 350 is my daily and im doing 30 miles each time i go into work, so cranking up the miles xD.
  9. So many white 370's I freaking love it xD. Welcome to the forum
  10. Someone on here is selling OEM 350z cats, old and used but they might see you through an MOT perhaps? Its in the standard 350z parts for sale section (not sure if im allowed to link or not O.o)

    Evo 2017 Tyre Test

I bought my car with PZero on the rear wheels. They felt really grippy in the dry but were pretty awful in the wet, setting off with any kind of haste would just spin up the wheels. Not even a case of spin the wheels and get going just sitting there looking like a bit of a mug. Not to mention they bulged out on the sides before I ran through all the tread.
  12. Welcome Always did like the 370 in white.
  13. About 4:30 today I saw you going up london road before going right at the round about under the motorway bridge. Was behind you in my grey 350 but im not sure if you saw me at all.
  14. Welcome to the forum she's a beauty
  15. It happens, parts wear out. my CSC decided to die about 3 days after i bought my HR, rather depressing. The recommend you get a new CSC and replace the clutch as it will be contaminated with fluid, thats what i was told anyway. But there are others on the site who could go into much more detail im sure if you wanted.
  16. I think I should be able to pop down again, missed a fair few because of work >.>
  17. Thats a gorgeous colour dont think ive ever seen a 350 like it in person or pictures. As we know only cool cars have black roofs or bonnets even got the (in my opinion) Better looking wheels
  18. I would absolutely love it but I just cant afford it, repairing the car back to working order has taken it all. Still got to get the rear arch and underside sorted for rust as well. I wish you luck with the sale though and you are right its beautiful and unique and has the benefits of being titanium.
  19. Very nice glad to have you come out of the shadows
  20. Again im not a mechanic but they look really off. Seen new discs go onto a fair few cars while ive been waiting for my parents when i was younger and ive never seen them with that sort of dusty silver look to them. Unless maybe its a protective coating for transport?
  21. Clutch in mine was up to 70K and felt fine it was the slave cylinder that killed off my clutch. unless someones been roasting yours horrendously it should be fine :).
