  1. If you're struggling for individual pictures, are there any decent group shots from Coventry or some of the national meets that would work? I know the weather wasn't great at cov or traxx though. They were of my phone so quality isn't great it was more of an idea starter than a 'use my photos'.
  2. Getting rid because of the repairs cost I think is a shame. But the day to day running taking a back seat for a house purchase is sensible. I did the same thing in my early twenties. Got a house a wife and kids, then got a toy again. You can always come back to sports car/money pit ownership.
  3. Nice things about Halfords? Beautiful lol
  4. I'm always eager for a lesson, so hear is my question: @Dracostan, isn't the rear horseshoe section redundant? Will having that add anything besides the obviously beautiful aesthetics? Not sure how it would work in regards to available space at the inlet, but I'd rotate each inlet pipe towards the front a few degrees because in my mind that would create less turbulence and a free-er/smoother air flow into each cylinder. But I assume this couldn't be done without the pipe work fouling with the cylinder in front. Like I said I'm happy to be corrected and learn stuff.
  5. Not sure if the thread has pictures still, but it would also be worth researching the 'buster mod' and bypassing the RCA plugs, as they seem to cut volume.
  6. Halfords do it all in for 120ish I think, Autocentre or the store. I have the Next Base 312 and its great.
  7. Good price for the cats, when I fitted high flow cats, the scrap metal man at work gave me £50 for the old cats
  8. It sums up my feelings, as a commuter vehicle for my current short distance needs, its ideal. I even think the new leaf isn't bad looking compared with the old one, its similar to the new Micra. I guess I like its day to day practicality, but I have no passion for one...like I have no passion for commuting
  9. We get it all the time here at my non main dealer but still national garage. People ring up for brake prices as they've been advised by main dealer, I price them up, they turn up. We take the wheels off to find that they are only half worn, so we tell them top come back in 6 months for a free check. I'd definitely get a 2nd opinion before making any rash decisions.

    REO 2018

Yeah, I just put a thread of suggestions
  11. We have a list of Regional Events Organisers, and a list of locations, but nowhere where the 2 marry up. Can we display who the organiser is on the location?

    REO 2018

Is Buster going to become the East Mids organiser, or do we have one already?
  13. What part of derby? I live quite close to tarmac sports will be nice to see more zed folk around.
  14. +1. As daily commuter car, I'm all for it. For the times when I want to be too, hot, too cold, deaf and uncomfortable but happy, it'd be anything but.
  15. My daughter is in the zed with me all the time as anyone who has seen me at a show knows. But she's legally tall enough to not need a booster seat. None backed booster seats fit without any trouble in the p seat for three younger daughter.
  16. Actually, that's a damn good point. On street parking with terraced houses and wires running to your car over night until some chavvy kid unplugs you. Sorry boss i can't come to work today, someone unplugged my car over night...BRB just looking at Leafs (Leaves?)now.
  17. Anyone who is southern, to me pronounces nuts as nats, or not with a hard u (like a grunt) sound.
  18. Cov-Stoke midlands...But here (in the midalnds) we also have East Midlands, which for some reason is Derby to the Coast. This leaves a tiny bit to split between us and Wales.
  19. I said something similar a month or 2 ago, I forget which thread though. I'm not dead against EV, and as a work tool its what I'd rather have, esp since I lose out on business miles in the company car. But its not something that excites my passion. Oh and don't get me started on Steam Trains, I love em . Not in an anorak and note book kinda way, but an audio-visual experience, they look and sound ace.
  20. In fairness at least they're honest with the lack of engine sound and haven't piped in fake engine sound through the speakers like Renault did with one of the Clios.
  21. I'd have an EV as my company car absolutely. Charge it at work, drive home, drive to work next day. Happy Me. For my fun multisense engaging weekend car I wouldn't do it. I think with the amount of industrial vehicles on the worlds roads, I agree that the truck is bigger news. Just need Tesla plains and trains now lol.
  22. How many pics have you had? Hopefully I like my chances lol
