I really like the HTC interface, and am looking at the U11 when its upgrade time. But have to admit the pixel looks good. But no matter what I get, I'll brake it in the first 6 months.

This is really handy, and if there is nothing like this up elsewhere, would be worth pinning by the mods. Not everyone knows what a banana arm is and the diagrams really clear things up.

I guess the difficulty is allowing access for the diesel smoke meter while the engine is revved. Even worse when it's owned by an old lady who thinks it a practical car to pop to the shops in and fill the workshop with soot. We've got old school roof extractor pipes. Our heating is rubbish though and we're tempted to burn an old oil drum hobo style.

I can see the appeal of the Golf, parallel parking on the school run where you tangle with Chelsea tractors and bangers owned by people who don't care on streets where people park on both sides the Golf would be the smart choice. If it was my money I'd still have the GTR. Lets face it, we're a forum of people who like the Nissan Z cars, a car that is a little dated in its ethos: 3.5 litre NA V6 2 seater. For the money could we have bought something faster, more practical and better handling? Of course. Do we regret our purchase? Hell no. In terms of how low will the price go, where did the r34 bottom out? Because in my head I think the r35 GTR will be about 10-15k above that due to its renown, which Id argue is bigger than the 34. I know its a RREEEAAAAAAALLLLYYYY long way away, but the US import market will affect the cost of these cars too (I think).

British gasses entire fleet is on winter tyres all year round, even there home serve fleet, they handle well but wear quick in the summer.

Yeah but when I compare my zed sat nav which isnt touch screen, with my touch screen astra the astra wins hands down. Although if I could use post code look up on the zed it'd help. But the astra responds really well to voice commands which can be accessed from steering wheel for calls and navigation...just a shame I'm in an astra (actually I really like it but sshh). I think the issue for me with that Tesla tablet, is that a, it looks like it's been such there as an afterthought rather than built in to the dash. And b, it looks too distracting due to the satalite realism, it draws the eye like a TV. I had the same issue with my dash cam and that's a tiny screen.

As @gangzoom says though, Musk time is different from ours and deadlines are there to be missed, so I think we're stuck with him a while longer yet.

Spoke to @SHEZZA at Trax, and i think we'll do a Christmas one in December. I'll struggle in Oct as i don't have any free time. But if there is enough interest I'll organise a Nov meet happily.

Wet start, but my daughter and I had a great time. Good to see you all again/meet for the first time. Agree about focus/fiesta combos, too many, and it was the fiesta that rear ended a Renault wind in stop start traffic that slowed my entry. I look forward to some more meet's with the club.

Dunno, the rain hides the imperfections on my zed . And just to add to the fun my slave is starting to go, and it's either effecting my clutch plate, or the clutch is also starting to go. She'll be reet a while yet though, thankfully no track time.
