  1. One week today, still up for this?
  2. Welcome along. It's certainly a smile inducing car.
  3. Ok, so we have a calendar function that tells us peoples birthdays, but is there a way regional event organisers could input events onto it too, if not them the admin team? It may probably never get used or looked at though. As you can see I'm really busy at work playing with forum functions. Thoughts?
  4. I might put that on a shirt
  5. In fairness I think feeling defensive is fully justifiable when its something you've helped create and are proud of. As has been said, there is a sub section for ideas and areas of improvement, that doesn't seem to get used all that much. Plus @coldel's new thread has helped me out and I thought i was pretty good on here lol.
  6. In fact, you're booked in for an mot with me this morning
  7. That looks truly awesome well done. Would performance be hampered by pulling in hot air from the engine bay? It's not a criticism, more an understanding thing for my lack of knowledge.
  8. Really? Where do keep that? Must in a drawer somewhere at home I guess.
  9. NO!...maybe...yes...as is my desktop at work
  10. Kept his career going a long time after most of us would retire, hats off to the man, he obviously loved what he did.
  11. It may be worth noting too, that to get to the end of a thread when looking at the 'Unread Content' stream, click on the time of last post on the right of the screen rather than the thread title. Its a question I've seen mentioned a few times. Good 1st tip though @coldel, and although I only ever use the unread content view, it did prompt me to have a look at the all activity one and have a play with that.
  12. You're from my neck of the woods. Look out for black one at Burton Halfords near the 3 queens
  13. Yeah I liked the tenner comment too. I felt the old design looked like every other forum I've been a part of, and even 13 years ago when I had my k reg Corsa SRi, the layout/skin was the same. This update feels modern. Plus any ideas put forward in the sub forum are being considered and implemented, or a reply with how it currently isn't working right and fix will be attempted, i.e the map function. It took me a bit of adjusting, and i wasn't as visible recently as I was away from work, as anyone who has tried to order a shirt will tell you. But i'm back now. All joking aside, its Dan's fault its quiet. No-one starts a thread like @Ekona, whether its politics or his body giving up on him, it runs forever. So if he could kindly start something again that'd be ace
  14. I agree with Dan, and 4-6-4 could be down to inflation. I think the difficulty you'd have with the 1st garage is that you've now had the alignment corrected elsewhere eradicating any evidence that it was even out. However if it was a big enough company and with the age of social media, they might replace the worn tyres to shut you up or stop you going to head office (I work in a garage that fits tyres and would totally do that to stop my boss hearing about how I stuffed up). Saved image at the cost of a couple of hundred quid? Absolutely.
  15. Oh ok. I wasn't sure so thanks for the clarity
  16. Swine it rained on my week off, and will probable again on the next one in 2 weeks. Enjoy your time with the kids mate.
  17. As topic suggests, could we make the menu bar on the left 'float', so as you scroll down the thread, the menu is always visible? I know I know, it makes me sound RRREEEEAAAAALLLLYYYY lazy as all i need to do is scroll back to the top of the thread, but this can take seconds on a picture heavy thread. That being said, i do like the new look, and its the people that make the forum great. Jay
  18. Morning all, The pub is booked for this on the first Tuesday in sept (the 5th) and they have put a table aside for us so we can all eat together. It was a nice turn out last time and despite how the week and day started the weather turned out great. It'll be nice to have a repeat of that. I'm starting a list now, and its open to anyone who'd like to attend, not just east mids folk or current zed owners. I can update the table size if needed as it currently seats 10. 1. Jay84
  19. If you click on the time of last comment it takes you to the most recent comments @The Chubby Ninja, i found that frustrating too, but the time thing works on mobile too.
  20. The mobile phone aspect is much better. I've been on a little less through work and (strangely) holiday. I got used to the new set up quite quickly. The forum was busier when there was social controversy like election's and tragedy.
  21. My sport cats do the same thing, every few weeks/months (she's not my daily), I get the same error code, usually on a warm day when the cats aren't that hot and I'm sedately cruising. No rough running, still passes emissions test once the cats are good and hot. I have had similar with ECP sensors though so it could be them.
  22. Standard cats? and what quality sensor did you have fitted?
  23. The outstanding is against the bike, not you, so if he bought that bike, doesn't the debt go with it? That's why dealers do HPI checks to ensure they don't purchase a car with outstanding finance. Notify the DVLA (DVSA?) that you are no longer registered keeper with the small yellow part of the log book you kept and it'll no longer be linked to you...I think

    New Z4

Lets also hope the accountants don't hold it back from looking like that.
