  1. Nice guide, though looks like a right pain. Honestly no idea if it'll fix my problem, but you seem to have a better understanding of the clutch pedal assembly and might be able to point me in the right direction if nothing else. I'm free to meet whenever
  2. Not to hijack Rob's thread, but seeing as you're just round the corner I don't suppose you'd mind taking a look at mine, Spoons? Vids in the 2nd post, seems different to Rob's issue though, so probably different to yours too?
  3. Getting back into Dota 2 after a month off. Can't decide if I like the new 7.00 patch.
  4. Yeah, if you've maxed out everything else, Santander is a last resort, but with the monthly fee, it's barely worth it. You can have: -Tesco 2x £3k (£6k) -TSB 2x at £1.5k (£3k) (1x solo, 1x joint, but I managed to get 2 solo and 2 joint ) -Lloyds 1x £5k -Nationwide 2x £2.5k (£5k) (1x solo, 1x joint) -Bank of Scotland 3x £5k (£15k) -Halifax 2x £3pm (£6) -Various monthly savers at 3%+ £250-£500pm Yeah, probably switch rather than just join on the first direct, but that's not hard. Either use an old account or open an account elsewhere and switch it over. Think I've got to wait a few months before I can re-open a FlexDirect.
  5. Better than a kick in the teeth, but there's gotta be better ways to invest... IIRC: - Halifax Reward dropping to £3pm - TSB Plus dropping from 5% on £2k to 3% on £1.5k - Lloyds Club dropping from 4% on £5k to 2% on £5k - Nationwide Flex is staying at 5% on £2.5k, but those only last 1 year and then you can't reopen one for 12 months - Bank of Scotland Vantage is staying at 3% on £5k - Tesco is staying at 3% on £3k - Santander was crap and still is - First Direct still do the 5% regular saver + £100 for joining, but that only lasts a year, and you are better off leaving after 6 month but before 12 months and getting another £100 - There's a few other switch bonuses around, but I've used all of them AFAIK
  6. Yeah, but they are all going to @*!# in the new year. All the decent rates are dropping to 3% or less.

I asked and they said that adding parents wouldn't reduce the price. I ignored them and asked them to recalculate it with none, each and both. Came out cheapest with both. Results may vary though, so definitely worth checking every option. I think after 25 it loses any real benefit, but also depends how long you've been driving.
  8. I'm pretty sure I'd be squished and as far as I know my Z stock.
  9. Should expect to pay £150-£400 for a set of stock RAYS depending on condition (then £50 per corner if you want to get them refurbed). Definitely worth it I'd say.
  10. I think those are the correct sizes for the standard 350Z 17" rims, but looks like you can't get MPSS for 17" rims in anything remotely close to a suitable width / profile. I'm sure Dan will be able to suggest a good alternative Or you could get some new rims? Stock 18" Rays are cheap, light and rather good.
  11. Love how the speedo says "GROUNDSPEED", as if that needs clarifying...
  12. The second half of that sentence could have gone much worse.
  13. Don't forget motors.co.uk, Gumtree and even Facebook. Might not give the best results, but you never know.
  14. And give good drivers their own unrestricted road network so they don't have to deal with crap drivers.
  15. Ouch, pics? Perfect excuse to get the Nismo though. No point buying 2 bumpers is there

Just another reason why The North is better
  17. I'd say the price is fine, but around winter and xmas isn't the best time to try sell. Also, most people on here already have a Z, so you may have better luck on Autotrader etc
  18. The gloss black is really nice - reminds me of a C-Class.

22, 0 years NCB, license for 2 years, 10k miles ~ £740 with Admiral. Pretty hefty discount from adding both parents as named drivers and multicover (parents car + home insurance). Think there was also a £20 discount if you install a dashcam...
  20. haha! possible in june when sunrise is 4:50am but I like my bed too much! Ah well, sunsets are pretty cool too
  21. No mistaking something that ugly either.
  22. Not much help, but it sounds different to (and worse than) my click (which is still unresolved)... Mine happens every time in both directions. I reckon yours might be a borked clutch cylinder from what I found when researching.
