  1. That's the big advantage of moving to an internet platform - they can do pretty much whatever they want with no repercussions.
  2. I'll have to partly disagree with you there as I've seen plenty of cars which weren't Lambos sporting green calipers that didn't look tacky, ...some Mercedes, Porsche, and a Nissan (R35) GTR just to name a few. It all depends on the cars colour I'd say to how good it'll look although I'd imagine the type of car & size of caliper does have some baring on it. Merc, can't see it looking good. Porsche, only on the track versions. GTR, maybe, but it'll still look like tacky rice. McLarens can get away with it for some reason too though.
  3. Black goes well with everything, but I think even against the orange it won't stand out enough. Calipers have to be bright or you don't see them. Though bright green is reserved for Lambos, elsewhere it tends to look tacky.
  4. Yeah, I agree it'd go nice with the blue. But with orange...
  5. Red is probably your best bet. Or if you are feeling brave, a nice purple should work.
  6. That's beautiful... Is it... real? At >£300k for a 246GT, I'm kinda assuming not? How much was it?
  7. 08 should be Chilli Pepper Red (AX6), but could be Rosso Red (A41). As for servicing, unless you really want the stamps, I'd do the work yourself. Or there's Chris who runs garage in North Yorkshire - it's a bit of a trek, but I've heard good things.
  8. Ep6 - usual crap. Until the last 15 minutes... which was an excellent piece on the GT40.
  9. General consensus seems to be that mileage isn't particularly important. What matters is the condition. Best thing to do is go have a look at it and find out how well it was looked after. Worth checking if the plugs have been changed recently too, might give you some leverage.
  10. Ecu you on a pre 06 isn't big enough for the extra software But on the 06/07 Rev Up DE it would work then?
  11. When they look that good and sound that good, it kinda makes any negatives rather insignificant. If you can afford it, do it. If you can't afford it, bugger it, do it anyway, it'll be worth it
  12. You're preaching to the choir... I get asked those silly "where do you see yourself in 5 years from now" questions all the time, but apparently "I have no idea" is not a good enough answer. Can't harm to think of a potential option - It doesn't have to come true. So, an R63 AMG if you're lucky and an R35 if you're not? Didn't realise you could an R8 for £40k now. Hate to think what the upkeep is though... Probably the same as the purchase prce...
  13. Might not apply when the clutch is disengaged?
  14. Samsung micro SD from a dodgy Chinese ebay seller. Surprisingly, it not only works, but based on the results of H2testw, it appears to be genuine
  15. My thinking was that in 2027, the cars from 2017-2020 will have depreciated to an affordable amount, so that's what I'd be driving in a decade. So just pick your favourite new / upcoming car while taking into account how much it will cost in 10 years (a £2m+ Koenigsegg is still gonna me £2m+, but a £70k Audi is probably gonna be ~£10k).
  16. I was 13 In a decade... Maybe a Lexus LC?
  17. Everyone seems to be missing the point of the question... He isn't asking how to avoid it or complaining: He purely wants to know why he is experiencing the wheel slip at 4k RPM. This is with a constant throttle position (3/4 depressed), and presumably in a straight line. As such, gear and a heavy right foot should make no difference, it's purely a matter of there being a larger increase in power / wheel speed at 4k RPM.
