  1. That's probably cos he's not far behind me in terms of age, so there hasn't been time for anything to change yet. We just got a list of 'E' (effort) grades and predicted grades for each subject, but there was still the occasional parents evening. The only peer-marking you do at university is assessing each others contribution in group assignments. (I'm 22 )
  2. Grammar was taught a little bit in early primary school, but from what I remember the 2nd half of primary was all about story writing and descriptive writing. Secondary school was just making up complete BS explaining what the author meant when he wrote X and Y. Apparently an author can't just write "the car was red" because it was red, oh no, it has to have something to do with how it was a fast, powerful car and red has connotations of fast angry things. So what you end up with is a load of kids who can chat utter shite, but can't form proper sentences.
  3. I count 9 exclamation marks, 1 angry face, and 1 caps-locked word, that's a fair 5/10.
  4. Would you rather get little interest or have to deal with people offering half the value? I'd go for the higher price to hopefully deter some of the silly offers, but explicitly state that you are open to reasonable offers.
  5. Don't price things so low would be my only advice. If you want £100 for something, ask for £150, get low-balled at £50, and meet at the £100 you actually wanted in the first place. People would rather pay more for something but feel like they got a deal than pay the full asking.
  6. Either dig it all out or sell it as a "feature".
  7. Surely, lower case 's' and 'c' for sports centre? The only honourable thing to do here is step down
  8. Tried to have a better look today, but it's next to impossible to get underneath. Made another video though - looks like the click happens when the top of the spring touches / separates from the bit of metal. Might be looking in completely the wrong place though...

    Bose Sub & Amp

Really? Cos that's not what the past sales would suggest: 1) £20 for sub and amp or £40 for full Bose not including postage 2) £50 for full Bose not including postage 3) £50 for full Bose (£60 including boot amp) not including postage 4) £50 for sub and amp inclusive of postage Not trying to swindle anyone, but when even the most expensive past sale is half the price of what is being quoted, I have some strong doubts about the actual true value...

    Bose Sub & Amp

How much would you be asking? (Individually and together). Bit steep They sold here just a few months ago at £20 for both (not inclusive of postage admittedly)
  11. Thought about it, but need to look into how to do them. Not sure they will look / feel very good if I dip them, and wrapping that shape might not be very easy. Should probably do the badges / emblems too while I'm at it.

    Bose Sub & Amp

Think my Bose sub amp is knackered, and the sub itself might be too. Not ready to upgrade myself just yet, so just looking for an OEM replacement. Anyone got either of the above kicking around or thinking of upgrading soon? Needs to be fully working at higher volumes (my current set starts to die if the volume goes above ~18). Not in any rush as I still want to have a play and see if I can fix it myself, but show me what you got Cheers.
  13. Righto, will stick something up in the wanted section. Looks like a sub & amp combo sold for £20 a few month back which ain't too bad.
  14. It takes a little while to remove the bumper, but it's so easy, and it makes changing the lights a breeze. Okay, it's not a 5 minute job, but it's better than the ballache of fiddling about through the wheel arch.
  15. I always find it hard to understand the complaint from teachers about having no free time and spending their weekends marking and doing lesson prep. Maybe I went to a shite school, but lessons involved working through a text book and we peer marked our work in class...
  16. Hmm, might just do what you suggested in your first post then. I'm not too bothered about how it looks, it's so small and unnoticeable, I just don't want it getting worse or impacting the resale value significantly. So I think anti-rust stuff and some touch up paint should suffice. I'll make a judgement if / when I come to sell whether it's worth getting a full roof respray. Would you recommend doing anything else before using the anti-rust stuff? Sand it down a little? Scrape off some rust?
  17. Is that cos it bends out of shape? Cos nobody told me and that's what happened to mine
  18. Nothing solid, just a few potentials: - Something needs greasing - It's just the clutch safety switch - Master cylinder needs replacing Could do with some more replies from Z owners.
  19. Don't know anything about it, but what about private tutoring?
  20. Turn it into a trampoline park instead?
  21. A full respray sounds excessive for such a small spot of rust... it's barely a centimetre in diameter. Just want to stop it getting worse (or slow it) and cover it up. Doesn't have to be perfect, but anything is better than a little orange blob.
  22. More stock pics (DE rather than HR)
  23. Comparison of K&N and stock: (Stock on the right)
  24. So it's "Neesan", but not "Neesmo"? Silly Americans, at least be consistent with saying your words wrong
