  1. 2 things from this video: The new car has much much less pronounced wheel arches compared to the 370z. The darker colours will "slim" down the car even more. Def less muscular but more beautiful (no homo) at the same time Yellow > Blue. If one is bringing one over here with the wait, expense etc then best to get something that doesnt resemble anything at the price point. This would be four times less the cost
  2. It's either the Yellow with the black interior or blue with blue interior. What would you lot go for?
  3. We will likely NOT see the full pallet of exterior colours imo just a fully loaded (non Nismo) model shown which will prob be the best way to spec one. Eager to see the blue. If its a Lexus Fractal Blue or Porsche Miami Blue then I would take that over the Pearl Yellow.
  4. Hard to fault that. Love that it doesnt look bloated like the new Corvette and that they kept it fairly trim for a supercar
  5. Nice photo. But maybe a bit flattering since this is one the best angles you can shoot it at (other then side profile) - it conceals the gaping front end
  6. When it comes to supercar aesthetics and design we are def in a dark era tbh. Nothing compared to the 90s
  7. Pretty much my thoughts. If this was 2010 it would look somewhat innovative but nothing we havnt seen before in 2021. That said it isn't ugly
  8. It is noticeable how the trademark 370z beefy wheel arches on front and rear have been ditched for a more squared fender profile. This will undoubtedly make the car easier to maneuver esp in tight situations compared to the 370z which had blind corners front and rear. I think the side crease that runs along the new car should make up for that however. Not really sure its better looking then the 370z Nismo Mk2 but its more attractive then the 370z GT imo
  9. Problem may be is that people that buy these want the soundtrack to go with it. Especially since the richest buyers buy more for road presence , the status symbol factor and revving around city centres
  10. Yea possibly true esp as the Nismo only really works with Storm White whereas the GT car allows you more scope for other colour options and looks. Not sure if getting a blue interior would be a wise choice though. Yellow/Orange and black interior GT spec Edit: Just seeing that video does anyone not think that the rear looks a bit peculiar from this angle almost like the end is pinched
  11. funny that I just noticed that leak re the blue interior I was thinking the other day, is importing one as ridiculous as it sounds? Surely it will make it even more exclusive then it would be and beyond financial reach of most Z community kind like the Nismo Mk2 which is comparable (visually and money wise) with the German performance cars. Think it makes the car more exotic somewhat. Just from my perspective where I have been keeping an eye on 2014/2015 C7 Corvettes which won't really drop below £35k (imports) for many years (£40k for EU/UK spec cars) and then there is the risk of getting something GM have cut corners on the factory line and similar import car insurance costs, LHD issues etc. Maybe importing the new Z after a year or so wont be bad perhaps when exchange rate improves?
  12. I think is someone goes through the effort and wait to import one it would have to be a fully loaded Nismo in Storm White or Black
  13. As a ref point my 2018 Mk2 17k miles was valued £22k Part Exchange by a dealer (Mk2 2018> have the updated clutch, darkened rear lights, door handles), non modified, 1 owner, Storm White. I think these will fetch £24-25 private sell correct me if I'm wrong? I don't forsee Nismos dropping from 2022 onwards as they become rare unlike the standard car. So unlikely to buy a Mk2 Nismo low miles sub £20k from 2022> I am thinking I might end up holding onto the Nismo for that reason although there is a certain practicality smaller cars bring in an age where we can't make use of our cars, increased charges and idiots moped riders making things worsen in the years to come
  14. I think it looks alright actually. Several years too late to the market unfortunately. I think they should have gone with the Gripz concept styling given such a huge wait
  15. That video was p shocking actually. Rare in this age of clickbait. I noticed its got 500k views in compared to the few thousand on the guys other youtube vids. I hope he puts some of the YT revenue towards helping his friends out (car repairs and fixing the guy's knee). Or is this being a bit of too much of a good Samaritan esp since the camera guy wasn't at fault. What would you do if you profited from your mates' misfortune by a viral video?
  16. Congrats on the new car. Bit of an odd time to get a Z imo but that's no ones fault given Covid and how it is unfolding I think non Nismo cars are more suited to modding personally - more cost effective and won't hurt future resale as much. As a Nismo Mk2 myself modding is something I have stayed away from. I do like the BE's. I think after the white Roadsters they have a certain appeal that will always be there.
  17. https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/renault-sport-megane-trophy-r-spotted/43884 Even better timing lol

    New boots

What tyre sizes are they? My Nismos need 245/40 (F) 285/35 (R) 19" - I'm assuming those are narrower Edit: can see 285/35 on rear but cant make out on front
  19. Probably one for the yanks since their roadsters got discontinued later so no need to swap the front lights. Not a bad idea if money wasn't an issue. Nissan USA actually teased that the Nismo Roadster would be released. The Germans for a RS Roadster which was a halfway house not a proper Nismo. The Nismo Roadster had white leather two tone seats. I actually use all my boot space in my Nismo so don't know if I could live with a roadster to be fair. The black roadsters used to be q common in London around 2010
  20. Fair play. There always is that element of being in the right place at the right time. Take this guy and compare it to the many places in London where I can find guys of a similar skill set Hope this doesnt come across as a douchey lol Keep doing what your happy with !
  21. Isnt it a modern variation of yogic breathing which has been around for thousands of years? Similarly the reptilian brain isn't a new concept I think youtube has popularised many things through different figureheads (Sadguru, Wif Hoff etc) that have their roots way back in human history
