    New tyres

Having just had my first service at 7000 miles, they reckon the following for my tyres - I don't know how cause I don't drive it that hard IMO and half that mileage is motorway! IN MID OUT N/S/F 6.0 6.0 5.0 O/S/F 6.0 6.0 5.0 O/S/R 4.0 4.0 4.0 N/S/R 3.0 3.0 4.0 At this rate I'll be getting some nice tasty MPS4S by the end of the year, or use it as a man logic to trade for a new car xD Best Price I've found so far for 265/30/19 and 305/30/19 is about £925 + fitting
  2. Well that was a rollercoaster.
  3. I loved the base 370, years ago. Then I settled on a 350z. 18 months later I sold that to fund the Nismo. Can't imagine anything else tbh, it would always bug me seeing one knowing for not much more monthly I could have the top dog! It's your money, but not having a big deposit makes monthlies seem unobtainable. I got 3% APR I should add. So my total price was £37000 odd including finance over 3 years
  4. I got a Nismo as a compromise to what I really wanted - a Lotus Exige 350. They were out of budget, and insurance was a nightmare. I put £10k as a deposit, and my monthlies are £280, with a lump sum of £17.5k due at month 37. I think I got a good deal, considering I got the car within 3 weeks also.
  5. The actual F.. I went through carwow, got a Nismo within 2 weeks and that was cause I wanted to sell my old car first! New, 6 miles, not prereg or anything. Thats an agonising wait!
  6. You know the rules, when collection day comes....
  7. My brothers mother in-law will drive a good 15-20 mins to save 5 cents a gallon.... (USA) She refused to acknowledge that it would cost her more in the fuel she used to go there and back than she was saving.
  8. Nice try mate, but the "old" one is three... new is four
  9. BMW M550d Mental fast, comes in wagon form if you need it, X-drive, 400 bhp/560lb ft. 0-60 in 4.4 and 38mpg Don't ask about repairs or maintenance, 4 turbos is hella confusing to run I bet.
  10. Just saw your white Nismo at 5:30 on the A31. Looks good, was in company wheels

I want dark door handles dammit. TIME TO SELL UP!
  12. I don't mean to be rude but I think it's the way you use the car Mines a year old in April and I have no such wear, after 6500 miles.

    Undertray needed

I knew this would happen... I fitted my Torqen one and the garage asked what to do with the old tray - Figured it was worthless so I binned it xD TBH I'd get the Torqen one anyway for peace of mind. The 370z ones are on sale, and the 350 ones are JUST cheaper than the plastic, so why not get one XD
  14. Get a white Nismo xD Although I am biased...
  15. Daytona is the new blue. Hes looking for this colour
  16. Go away! We Nismo's were special at one stage, now they let any riffraff have em xD Good choice on colour, white is by far the best for these. Black you lose a lot of the subtle details, red clashes with the red from Nismo cause its a darker shade and is garish IMO, and silver is just for diesel German barges hehehe Welcome aboard, but we need pics asap!
  17. I haven't kerbed a wheel in over 30 months so far... and the times before that I only did it cause I was in a blind panic to move out the way of another vehicle. If I can't find a parking that is safe/away from others then I refuse to park between cars. Big doors on the Z don't help, so getting in and out is a bitch unless I can open the door properly. Just park further away n walk xD
  18. Affordable? Lists Cayman and M2's as well as GT86... bit of a joke really. I wouldnt touch half the cars on that list for a "sports car" but hey, maybe I'm wrong xD
  19. We have had our 430d for over 2 years now, so feel free to pm me about it and I'll try and help - reliability wise though its been flawless in our 23k so far - maintenance package is a bargain on new cars
  20. I was in the same boat as you, had my black 350 for 18 months ( second car ) then bought my Nismo almost a year ago, also brand new. Get a check list of things to check, I might have posted on on here before but I can't remember. Bring a VERY powerful torch to check for damaged paint etc at the dealer before you sign anything, check the shipping spacers are out before you drive off. It's not a case of seeing swirls as it is preventing them. Use of good quality products is important, but technique more so! I'd recommend getting the paint protected some how before you drive it too long/far. I had my front covered in PPF vinyl, but others choose to go for ceramic coatings - do some digging and pick one, but I'd go for some protection! I haven't found any hidden features yet, apart from hitting certain buttons loads up another screen for the same thing. So for example if you hit Map, then hit it again, it will show a picture of the junction etc. OR it will get rid of it if there is on present. Have a play with the buttons Get in to the habit of finding a save place to turn off the headlights before you spray your windshield - saves you from dousing your car in washer fluid from those STUPID headlight washers. Heres what I did, had a few more but lost the list.

why not an M6 - Now that is a steal. £45k see's you into low mileage '14 plates
  22. @Adrian@TORQEN might have some bits you'd like Personally the looks made the Nismo the only one I'd want. The price wasn't hugely different either if you haggle well!

    A BIG ASK

I'm not local, but saw your recent thread - Buick Riviera by any chance?
  24. In my mind red is the LAST colour I'd put a Ferrari in. But hey, that's my opinion. Also the last "pretty" Ferrari was the F430/Scud. The 458 and 488 just don't do it for me. F12 a little bit, but very colour sensitive. Now having said all of that, I'd gladly take a free one of any of their cars xD
  25. You'd be better off buying a forum car, which you can still have inspected by anyone else. Junction 17 have so many horror stories on this forum alone, from people who decided to go against it all.... " nah it won't happen to me... it'll be fine" YEAH NO! Browse our cars for sale section or post in the wanted section with your requirements and budget I found it easier to buy a new Nismo than it was to get a pre owned one - as an example if you put down say £10k for a deposit, a new Nismo can be had for £37k total meaning around £280 a month
