  1. Sarah Cox is an idiot on the best of days. Why not the worst? I'm gutted, frankly. :-(
  2. Help me out Pete. Is that an MR2 with a Lexus badge or am I going mad?
  3. Was going to argue about the merits of compact system cameras but it appears mirrorless is just another way of saying it. I got one of the 2nd generation Sony NEX alpha range and they are impressive. Not taken a bad shot with it.
  4. This. It's an emergency lamp, jumper coil & compressor all rolled into one. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=272020876707&alt=web
  5. Seen the same car a few times as I live nearby, the door handles are gloss black too. Nice looking Z
  6. When it gets too dull, just re-burn it!
  7. I declared the wrap on my insurance & they hit me with a £25 policy adjustment fee. I got the same when declaring a new numberplate (which you should, but charging you money for it!?) For the sake of parking sensors I'd wait until renewal time unless you like paying money for old rope.
  8. The SA80 is a hideous gun. The Famas is awesome. Steyr AUG if you're going to be elitist though.
  9. Hi Aaron, you didn't buy it from a lad from Aberdeen perchance did you? Buddy Club exhaust?
  10. Was into airsoft a few years ago. Still have a Desert Eagle, H&K MP5 RAS & an FN P90 kicking about somewhere, complete wityh webbing, bb's & extended mags. :-)

They are very very rare. Practically the rarest zed if you discount the Fairlady Z 432 which goes for astronomical money now. Most were bought as track toys & very few survived without questionable modifications. A lot of tuning houses in Japan bought them up and created demo cars with them. Powerhouse Amuse Superlegerra is probably the most famous one, MCR another that Bulletproof Automotive sold on last year.
  14. Neon under cars is one. My dad emailed me asking for advice on getting undercar lights - he has an Audi (shudders) A3 sportback for crying out loud! I suppose i should be grateful, the last time he took me car shopping i had to talk him out of buying a Civic Type R!
  15. You could be quite dark and go down as Great British serial killers. Fred & Rose, Myra & Ian up front with Pete Sutcliffe, Harold Shipman & Jeremy Bamber taking up the rear.
  16. That's horrendous. Poor Celica :-( Only a total neb runs that much stretch.
  17. What about when you want to haul ass through a speed camera? I use someone elses car!
  18. Old escorts & fiestas, RS turbo's, XR2's 3's etc were the zeds of my schooldays - sapphire cossies & xr4x4's etc were the GTR's although not in price lol As much as I get a nostalgic twinge when I see them, I remember that there were so many young lads & lassies killed driving them it was unreal - they literally did wrap themselves round trees and your chances of surviving a roll weren't good. Don't think I'd have the cahonies to drive an old ford like I drive the Zed.
  19. You've probably let them drive your Z before ;-)
  20. I immediately thought of Bronze TE37 Ultras and coincidentally enough, here's a Stillen Supercharged one with exactly that!
  21. Not even remotely Zed related as I was driving the Missus Celica at the time - but OMG - what a bloody road to drive on! Spent Xmas in Gran Canaria as the good lady was worried she wouldn't feel chrismassy (?) this year and wanted some winter sun - only plce flying that way was Newcastle hence the drive down. Anyhoo, the drive to Edinburgh was no great hardship, but that A1 coast road past the powerstation was shocking. I had assumed you guys would have had a dual carriageway all the way but no, the shortest possible sign/gaps for going from dual to single carriageway & a plethora of speed cameras keeping you second guessing your 70/60/70 speed. Reminds me of the A9 between Perth & Inverness. The way down wasn't pleasant, but the drive back (on new years eve, at 7pm at night) was horrendous, even for an almost completely abandoned motorway. The worst section of that is a poorly signposted dual to single carriageway followed by a long right curve at the apex of which, is a Gatso speed camera facing the opposite direction that flashed in my face in the dead of night. Needless to say after the GF stopped screaming at me swerving all over the road I panicked thinking that I'd just been done - I was maybe just slightly over 70mph in the single carriageway zone - so was baffled as to why it flashed at all. Crucially, it only flashed once. I've spoken to some friends since I go back home who are from the Boro / Sunderland and they said that road is a bit of a pig and that camera had done the same to them - anyone else know the section of road I'm talking about?
  22. At shows, I tape a JDM plate over the top of my UK one. When everyone has dispensed with taking photos and gone home, its taken off & driven home. Nice n Easy.
