Alas your right. It's only political suicide because you have a couple of generations that have had establishment rhetoric rammed down their throats citing drugs as an evil depraved socially destroying enterprise. And yet social and main stream media is awash with people bigging up their exploits on the vino at the weekend. It's a double standard and vastly hypocritical. But hey that's politics for you, well timed policy promises and rhetoric to fool the gullible into voting one way or the other.

I've been saying for years all drugs should be legalised regulated and taxed. As for the supply chain well that's another bonus, why, well it legitimises a currently criminal enterprise and makes it a legit business. The war on drugs is a phallacy, a waste of time and money that achieves nothing but criminalising otherwise law abiding citizens and clogging up our legal and reform systems. The tax gained would help to pay for all sorts of things from the NHS to quit programs. Prohibition just doesn't work at all, the US found this out when banning alcohol all those years ago. One of the biggest problems aside from smoking over here is alcohol. Will they try to ban that, of course not. Just because something is socially and culturally accepted that makes it ok does it. Drugs have been vilified for absolutely no reason and criminalising it has made it worse without question.

Can't remember when it was but I was driving an MG metro at the time, a green one (yes I know!)

Help: Looking for a 350z (What is the best model?)

I prefer the looks of the Revup which is why I changed mine to look like one Front and rear lights sold it for me. -
Regarding the NHS, way to many chiefs and not enough indians. The lack of ground level staff has led to a reliance on agency cover. There is also a dire lack of new staff coming through and the ones that do become disenchanted very quickly. The working hours can be dire and many qualified staff look towards posts abroad or agencies to maximise income and aleviate stress. It has led to the NHS also becoming a mainstay for the only people willing to work for them being from overseas. A vicious circle and there is no guarantee pumping more cash in is viable. More private companies are now in the mix from ambulance provision to specialist departments.

My money would be on a Mk2 MX5, cheap and a plethora of parts about should you need them.

The one thing that is abundantly clear to me after all these years is the blatant lack of viable choices. Every time this system of ours throws up a GE we are corralled enmasse to vote for two choices. Yes there are those who buck that ethos but their votes are useless in the grand "scheme" of things. Generally people will vote for the two parties who have a chance of power and pick the one based on how they have perceived the propaganda and rhetoric that favours them the most. However that said there is a certain sense of security and keeping the status quo feels familiar. It's not the system that's at fault it's the equal representation of those who people vote for. Theresa May will win this one, after all Corbyn isn't quite Tory enough

Help: Looking for a 350z (What is the best model?)

I removed the standard nav, purchased a standard cubby with lid and put a Tomtom inside I was lucky to get hold of the later front lights from a member on here and the led rears come up quite often on here too. All were just plug and play and the bi xenon units are better than the originals. I refrained from getting a facelift front bumper though and opted for a zunsport grill instead. Interior wise I ditched the black leather in favour of a set of alezan ones, I did this to lighten it up and contrast nicely with the (very common) gunmetal exterior. I've not bothered with the centre consul but I do have some newer door cards awaiting a retrim to match the seats. Mechanically she's had all suspension components replaced, Miltek exhaust system, Berk HFCs, 06 airbox, plenum spacer, new plugs and coils, Uprev map. She has a short shifter plus new clutch and slave and the obligatory moly slip additive in the box. I've just replaced the W brace as part of an underside tidy up. All variants are cracking cars whichever you decide to go for, I was lucky to buy a strong car, it could have gone the other way. Also I must add this forum is one of the best I've been a member of, as with most on here I'm a member on other car forums and this one by far contains the nicest and most helpful people I've encountered. I'm moving on this year to Lotus but I'm still going to hang around here it's been great Good luck on your search mate. -
Help: Looking for a 350z (What is the best model?)

I had a crack in one HR that had 8k miles and it was very nice but far from superior lol. However it would have blown my mod budget out the window Agreed the OP needs to buy on condition relative to budget. A nice Revup would be my bet, all the facelift trimmings whilst retaining a budget to mod. -

Lol maybe you had a bad DE, I drove plenty of HRs when looking for mine and they certainly were not superior. Smoother engine note and decent dipstick aside of course In fact the dipstick is the person that decided to put the clutch slave in the bell housing and paper oil gallery gaskets on them. The extra revs and less torque plus extra kerb weight negate any performance advantage in the real world. I do like the humpy bonnet even if it is only there because the HR lump is to tall -
The pug was braking as it came into shot, the fact a video exists will aid the claim. Whichever way you look at it the Morgan driver had the responsibility on his shoulders pulling out into the carriageway.

Nice car fella, I've always liked these. Still looks fresh today.

Slight correction, the HR and Revup still retain the chocolate suspension components that part is common throughout the range unfortunately -
Help: Looking for a 350z (What is the best model?)
Zeezeebaba replied to Louis's topic in 350Z General
I had the same choice a couple of years ago. I liked some of the cosmetic changes that came in 06 with the Rev up but didn't want to pay higher tax. If your lucky you can find one that just comes in before the tax hike came into force so early 06 Revup cars. The GT4 special edition also has the Revup motor but they hold their value well. IMO the HR is over rated and suffers from several design flaws that have reared up since its launch. Not saying the original DE was perfect but the HR can be more expensive to fix for very little gain in real world terms. They are heavier cars than the DE which negates that extra rev increase. However when they are running OK the engine is smoother and less course than the DE. The bonnet bulge looks cool and the oil dipstick is in a far superior place to the DE. I ended up buying an early 05 car so a stock 280 bbhp original. The intention was to plough the money saved into mods. I now have a car that visually looks like a Revup 06 plate and puts out healthy power the right side of 300 bhp. I use no oil between services but it's generally accepted that a little oil usage is normal in the Z especially Revup cars. Whichever you choose they all suffer from certain issues common throughout the range especially ball joint and bush wear on front suspension components. Whichever you choose I'm sure you will enjoy it -
I part exchanged my M3 for the Zed at a dealer 40 miles away and it was bought by a bloke in the next street

^ Avoiding loose chippings has always been a thing for me
-
That is a good design for the charging point Do you lock the connector in place with a key to avoid some loon pulling it out mid charge?
-
Nice blue DE, not sure but it sounded like a single exit exhaust, nice sound as you went past Damn they look good in blue!
-
Rev up denotes 06 to early 07 DE engines plus GT4 cars with a factory output of 296.
-
Uprev, optimal air fuel mix with mods or without.Sharper throttle response. Better torque curve and as much bhp as possible based on the condition of the engine before the map with or without mods. Standard mods include exhaust upgrade with high flow cats, DE cars benefit from improved plenum volume e.g. spacer.
-
Yeah all the blokes are discussing split expansion tanks and blown turbo seals.

Mass panic, roads would be clogged with people wanting to get home to die. Pointless doing anything, I've got AWE on my doorstep so I'm out I'm with Keyser on this one.
