  1. Are you sure its the rears and not the fronts?
  2. My HR was immaculate inside, barely a mark anywhere.
  3. 275 is the 'standard' size upgrade but remember to drop the side wall from 40 to 35 or they will look like bloody great donuts. Think I'm right in saying this?
  4. Wish I saw my old Zed. I sold it to a bloke who lives a few hundred miles away who was on here looking for one. We spoke and he is a real petrol head and agreed he'd remain on here. That was over 6 months ago and he hasn't logged on since he bought it. Missing it now
  5. Had Pirelli Pzeros on the wife's car. Wouldn't buy again
  6. I think its the way you told the story - in that you had done nothing wrong at all in this and it's all the sellers fault and he's a thieve. Had you said 'I think I messed up and by paying the seller I accepted terms that I didn't agree to' then people may have had sympathy as we all make mistakes.
  7. I agree with pretty much everyone on here. You might be pee'd off that in your opinion you over paid, however the goods were on sale for a price and you made a lower offer. The seller effectively declined and made an offer back to you which you accepted. It might be immoral to charge postage 4 times but he made it clear that he was going to do that and you accepted it and paid in full. Surely you can see this? We all can.
  8. The 'make an offer' button is there. Mines going to be a £350. £1 for every bhp...
  9. Can imagine how much filler is in that rear quarter!
  10. Not a bad price considering mileage - you can't have got much for it?. I assume its had an engine swap? What do you mean rust under the suspension?
  11. Id be interested to see how they look. Would they be better if the wheels were a different colour?
  12. Mate of mine broke his neck and had been in hspital for three weeks and hadn't been for a dump. Eventually, in the middle of the ward, they rolled him on his side, chucked a supposetory up him, layed a sheet on his bed behind him and basically legged it. Couple of minutes later he was gripping the bed rail for dear life, white knuckling, while he emptied himself. It was taken away and weighed and they told him it was 14lbs. A whole stone in one go!!! Apparently a few windows needed opening afterwards...
  13. Did I see a picture of this back at Sly's the other day?
  14. Is it the 69 that is the holy grail? Not putting down the one your after, just seems to be what I have heard
  15. Not sure where MOT stands if you bypass pad wear indicators? Presumably its a safety feature that the car came with so needs to be working at all times?
  16. I hate the visible fixings on these kits, but I've also seen tonnes of kuts blended in that start to crack in under a year and need redoing. I hope it works out for you
  17. I would suggest you would lose some reliability and on-going maintenance bills could be far higher with fi. if you can live with than then go for it. Personally having modified cars for years and spend more than I care to remember, I don't think I'd bother and I'd just buying something stock that is faster to avoid the agro that comes with modifying
  18. I've heard about Lambo engine fires and believe they are more common than you realise. Can't imagine its linked to an aftermarket throttle control though. Why on earth would you need more sensitivity in a Lambo?
  19. V Nice - well done! I quite like the Corsa VXR, infact I looked at a few a while back but was put off by engine related horror stories. Rocco is nice too, as is the van. Lucky chap
