  1. My 2004 1.4 automatic polo also has a single exit exhaust
  2. You can buy these already done and inserted into a game cartridge from an original Nintendo. Loaded with 17,000 games they are about £120.
  3. Our fee was around £20k but that was 5 years ago. Dred to think what it would be now if we moved, considering many houses round here have almost doubled in price since we moved in.
  4. The Government wont step in as insurance is taxed. If premiums reduce, so too does the gov's income
  5. Pricing a car like this is tough, there's no real guide. There are two on autotrader currently, both white VSpec, they are similar mileage and condition, one is at £13k, the other £18k. The £13k has less miles and side skirts. It's crazy. If the cheaper car was nearer, I may have viewed it as I cant imagine the other one is nearly 50% better
  6. I remember seeing this and briefly speaking with you, meguiars days perhaps, and I think you had the odd thought of selling it? Any more thoughts??? Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  7. I'm 40 and have driven many cars in the past, BMW 330, highly modified RS2000, Megane R26, numerous GTI's etc and I got the same-the Zed is very powerful and unless I had experience in a similar powered car I wouldn't get a quote. its a joke, The zed is hardly a rocketship.
  8. Not sure I agree with that. Surely rwd can get power down better from a standing start due to weight transfer to the rear meaning fwd would be less consistent and therefore 0-60 times would be more important? Dunno really 🤔 Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  9. It's the same 0-60, on paper Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  10. Does a 5 door perform and/or handle any better/worse than the 3 door do you know?
  11. Any updates, you've got me interested in these again now
  12. You really are dealing with poor solicitors! Who forgets things like that??? Good luck for tomorrow
  13. That's a good price. I have a Tamron 70-300 which cost slightly more but still give,s a good length. The only problem with these cheap zooms is that aperture (the f number) isn't great. The lower the F number, the larger the opening in the lens, meaning it lets more light in and will be quicker. So if your looking to shoot fast moving sports at a distance, you'll get the zoom but the shutter can't open and close quick enough so it will be more likely to be blurred. That's really where the money is spent on zoom lenses.
  14. What bugs me the most at this hilarious attempt at humour is that on the outside, the drivers side is clean. On the inside, when shoving the junk to one side, they pushed in onto the drivers side so now that's the dirty side. The execution of this gag is incredibly poor.
  15. It's pretty obvious that its just a joke
  16. I was tempted to view this until I saw the gear lever http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201612120544179?sort=sponsored&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&radius=1500&model=RX-7&advertising-location=at_cars&make=MAZDA&postcode=en76de&page=1 Can you buy a 1.3l or 2.6l or both?
  17. Bugger. I've just seen a pic of my old Zed, on the facebook page of Tees Valley Cosmetic Car Repairs. The bloke who bought it from me has smashed the front bumper on something so its been in for repair and paint. At least its fixed I guess and wasn't too bad really but knowing how pampered it has been all its life, it looks like its becoming a bit more 'use' these days
  18. Get'em up Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
  19. I can't understand why anyone would use a solicitor hundreds of miles away? You may save a few quid buts its nothing but agro. Appoint someone 5 minutes away and pay them a visit when they need a kick up the backside (which will be roughly 3 times a day)
  20. A friend has a 2011 juke 1.6 auto and it's making quite a racket. She's been told it's the CVT failing and cost will be thousands. It's supposedly a problem that Nissan USA recognise and act appropriately with repair however Nissan uk are apparently standing by the standard response that it's not a known issue and they will supply a new gearbox for a princely £8,000 - making the car a write off. It's currently got full history (not all Nissan though) and only 30 something k miles on the clock. A quick scan of the net shows it's clearly a very well documented issue and there are stories of Cars with little more than delivery miles have been known to go pop. Nissan continue to close their eyes unless it's under warranty. Has anyone heard of this issue or known the best way of tackling it?
  21. The article I read this morning said that there is no backing out. Oh well, I'm sure we'll find out
  22. Its fair enough. She's asking for a vote of confidence and she can then in future turn to those who slag her off and remind them that she was voted in As A50 has been triggered, there's no going back
