I have a couple of videos I can upload onto you tube later with the sound. In the me a time I agree with the comments above, it's a good sound, personally I prefer it to the cobra which is a bit raspy. Scorpion is a deeper sound.

Scorpion Stainless Exhaust System. including mid pipe (mid pipe will photo it tonight) Good condition, no leaks, dents etc, polishes up really nicely, been on the car for 2 years and hardly subjected to the elements due to my rear diffuser covering it all. Having caned the arse off a 981 Cayman Id wager that it ticks all of the above the boxes a whole lot better. Beautifully designed, beautifully made, oozes quality and class and the drive is exceptional. Corvette is a good alternative though I am sure it would, from what I have read the 981 Cayman would hand out a good spanking to most cars. But they are German cars, and just do not have quite the emotional connection as the Italians can muster (and even the brits). I would choose not to buy German, with a couple of exceptions (997.2 GT3 & Carrera GT) Gorgeous . . .. .

Yes the 4C is not the car it should have been, in terms of driving at the limit. No different to the Alfa 8C. But lets be honest not everyone is able to drive at the limit and exploit a car as some of you budding F1 drivers are. For me a car is: 50% how it makes you feel (image, sound, looks etc) 25% how well it drives 15% maintenance costs 10% practicality For me the Alfa ticks these boxes well. I personally think it is a great looking car (although LED headlights on launch models didn't look great). The Spider 4C is even better looking, although a little more expensive. If I was in the market with the right budget, 4C is were I would go. Sure the new Boxster is one great looking car and more than likely a better drive. However the Alfa will make you feel amazing, all of the time. I appreciate there are better driving cars, but really I could not care less. Both the Alfa 4C and 8C are on my list of must haves.

No noise from my Hawk and Brembo discs. Very little dust compared to previous oem pads.

True enough you have done more miles than most in the Tuscan. And I would love to buy it, however finances and a baby on the way means I am already Reviewing our cars! But I will one day own either a Tuscan or Sagaris.

I agree with Dan. Don't do it. The Tuscan like any TVR takes balls just to pluck up the courage to buy. Now you have it enjoy it. (Your TVR posting is my favourite on this forum)! I for one will be genuinely sad if you move on from the Tuscan so early on.

Had to get some of my brake pipes replaced on previous Alfa. Corroded, like most thing on an Alfa. Local company made up the pipes exactly as needed. Including fitting it all came to less than £100. Dealer = Stealers. Although if your brakes failed completely then they must have been bad to be fair. Considering that I think you can count yourself lucky you only had a bill, rather than failing on the motorway!

Welcome Buddy, to the Buddy Club family! lol Had mine on for 4 months, love it, everyday driving is with baffles in, weekend blast or (special occasions) baffles out!

I think you will find most aftermarket Exhaust will suffer drone at some part of the rev range. Personally I would adapt your driving style to punch through this part of the rev range rather than throwing money at trying to reduce the drone.

Mtec discs grooved and dimpled or the new fish hook design coupled with a set of performance friction pads is what I would recommend. Performance Friction have great pads. Bit expensive but worth the outlay.

I have the Hawk HPS pads on mine with oem brembo disks. They work very well together. Just as an alternative to having the Dba's Like you I don't do any track driving but this combo stands up well to a spirited drive. They held up when chasing a 911 during the peaks and 3 of us having to slam on the anchors really hard. As in really hard porkers brake lights were flashing (indicating emergency stop). Pretty sure without the Hawks I would have ended up rear ending Matts Z and pushing him into the porker. Moments like those you are glad about good brakes.

I went from touring 18's to 370z 19in rays. Both with standard size tyres. The 19's are certainly heavier particularly the rears, but do I notice a difference? Not really. Would say ride is a tiny bit harsher but nothing to write home about. For sure there is more grip but again it's not a night and day difference. Where the key difference is the way the 19's look, they look great. One piece of advice, the 19's do make the car look a bit tall, so I found some Tein springs help to lower the car and fill the gap perfectly. Go for the 19's you won't regret it

Hope you get it sorted soon Matt. Need to go for a blast soon. Everyone seems to struggle with the dipstick, I find it okay to be honest just take it out at a slight angle.
