  1. Few of mine. . . . Meeting everyone on Saturday morning after leaving at 6am! SuperCharged, SuperFun, Superfast, SuperAndy Nice Engine Bling High Octane Juice for a high Octane drive Mrs Niki's ride in all its Glory Matt posing! Buster "Art" for sure The Result
  2. As everyone has spoken so highly of the event Niki led. Let me take a moment to dwell on the bad points of the trip which certainly need improving. Constructive criticism if you will . . . 1. I am only messing about Niki. You put on a great event, was planned out well, great meeting up with friends and making some new ones too. You even ordered the weather for us all. Superb event and brilliant people. Events like this are not only about the driving, it's about the individuals that come. I know for a fact if you were all a bunch of unfriendly people most including myself would probably not turn up, no matter how great the drives might be. So credit to Niki and husband Mat for organising. Also big thanks to Matt and Lauren for leading our group. We had a hoot. Thanks to all for your smiles, cheers and banter
  3. Great pic, two Tuscans and a Z. Brilliant collection. Have a great wedding day tomorrow. At least you will get to drive the TVR long after the wedding, rather than my short lived TVR fling with the Sagaris. All the best, we will raise a toast tomorrow night in the Peaks for you.
  4. Was hoping to have my buddy club exhaust fitted for this trip. But will not be able to get it done in time
  5. As much as I appreciate the capabilities of the GTR, the Nismo version at £130k is just crazy. The choice of cars between £100k and £150k is superb, who would really go for a super-Nissan? Suppose if you have a garage full of other exotic supercars then the GTR Nismo could be worth a look at, still would not buy one if I make it to that rather nice dilemma. Ready to be shot down now . . . . .
  6. Bronze gets my vote on a black car
  7. Been meaning to upload some pictures after doing this 4 weeks ago. Tried to show the difference between each step, only taken with Iphone so not great detail in the picture but shows the diffference between each step. Okay the light would have changed in the few hours it took me to do it all but still can see a difference between each stage. Only good old elbow grease used, no fancy polishing DA machine etc. Wash Clay Poorboys Black hole FK1000P Wax Best way I could compare the difference for you End Result It's been 1 month since applying and the rain is still beading superbly on the wax. So after 1 month the FK1000P seems to have adhered to the Poorboys black hole quite well. Will update in a months time and see how well or not it's still beading. Thanks for advice

  9. Nice car Martin. Looks in mint condition. And welcome to the forum.
  10. GT 86 must be much lighter than the Z I would have thought. Hence why it's a bit better handling but lacking some power and torque. Quite Sure it's like the wife's MR2. Light and handles really well but just needs a bit more power. Just checked. GT86 1,190 kg Z 1,450 kg
  11. Thanks Bullet, but already gone. I have bought Friday tickets now! But ideally still want to go on Saturday! Would happily swap my Friday's with someone's two Saturday tickets + Cash.
  12. Enjoyed the wife's MR2 today in the sun. Absolute hoot for pocket money on your budget. Although no V8 soundtrack. How about SLK 55AMG? Jag XKR.
  13. More to do with careful purchases, no bank debt and buying at very bottom of depreciation curves. More luck than anything else with residual values. If I had really been SUPERDUPERBRAIN then I would have bought the Ferrari F355 I was planning on at £37k a two years ago and sold it this year for £60k+. Biggest regret I have made as was so close to buying one.
  14. Interest = £0 Depreciation = £480 10 years of driving. Cars = Clio, Calibra, Alfa GTV. Current is the Z. Call me old fashion but I don't believe in borrowing Money. (other than mortgage). Can't afford it don't buy it. Which helps keeps costs down, also most the cars I have owned are 7-8 years old. Hence £4 per month.

  17. Whoa sounds like a crazy afternoon! Really hope cyclist makes a full recovery. Particularly as it seems he did nothing wrong. Commander well done for helping him out. sounds like you are very much the reason mr cyclist is alive. Well done
  18. Right now I am so jealous. The TVR brand really takes what is great about driving to factor 10 in everything. In an age full of ABS, driver aids, TC, PSM, PDSM etc etc etc TVR's are back to what make a great car, and that is the driver. I hired a Sagaris 18 months ago for my wedding, had it for 4 days, did 498 miles in it and have to be honest it was one of the most rewarding experiences I had. (Only issue was hiring it during a wedding was a bit annoying as there were times where all I wanted to do was go for a drive! Hindu weddings last a whole weekend!!) TVR's are hardwork, you are on edge all the time, constantly tuned into what the car is doing, what your inputs are and in the back of your head will it spontaneously combust! But after a few hundred miles all the hardwork was making sense, grip, pedal feel, steering, sound, torque, pedal position all just seemed to work brilliantly. I only had 4 days with the Sagaris, but fell in love with the raw driving experience. You are going to love the Tuscan,(really like the purple colour too) always have wanted one of these since watching Swordfish. I am sure you will fall in love with this car from not only the looks but the quirks and soul it has. Genuinely is difficult to find this in cars nowadays. Few pictures of the Sagaris (hope you dont mind) Love how low it is And me . . Enjoy the Tuscan, please keep us all updated regularly (as most us would love to own one but don't have the balls to buy one)
