  1. I'm up for it, it's about time I met some fellow Zeds! What time are you thinking?
  2. I'll wave if you are ever in the North West and spot me !
  3. I've literally just changed all 4 of my tyres from the original potenzas to the MPSS. I could have waited with the fronts but I love the new tyres very happy with them, so I'd recommend doing all 4! I suppose it depends how much life is left in the fronts, I could have gone through another 1.5mm of tread on the front before changing but decided against it just from the reviews/opinions on here of the MPSS !
  4. I had this issue going into the colder periods as suggested above by 350zedd when I get to work or home I sit in the car for about a minute with the windows down to try get any hot air out! Seems to work for the most part, unless there's a drastic change in air temperature in the day/night while it's sat! I also occasionally if I remember when I'm a few minutes from home open the windows to help to!
  5. As I say I never take anything that a TV Show does off face value and it's full 100% scientific nature just because it's TV! Even the programme I was on was so heavily edited in absolutely everything that ye I definitely don't take it on face value ! Was more that I found out before the video that 97 RON was considered fine by most so then it was just choosing the best so went with the video on that basis as it's all opinions on who prefers what :O!
  6. I do use 97 RON and I had this same question when I was looking to buy my 370z as I'd have to drive seriously way out the way on some not nice roads stuck in traffic just to get anything higher than 97 (There is a Shell near me but the people who run it have been known to clone cards so I won't go near it)! I did loads of searches and found that there's a fair few people who run 97 and have had no issues so I felt a little easier so I then tried to do the research on which is the best 97 RON! I have the choice of 97's on my way to or from work and they are BP and ESSO. Anyway in the end I found Fifth gears petrol test fairly informative not sure of it's full scientific nature and whether it's 100% accurate but from that video alone I went with ESSO. It's a shame as the station is also a Tesco shop but they don't do the Momentum! Here's the Fifth gear video (time stamped at the chart). I also went off this thread (Been looking for it for ages); http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58381-viewed-a-demonstrator-always-run-on-95-ron/
  7. I am not aware that any have a heated front windscreen??? There is a button for front screen next to the button for rear screen demist but this just puts heater blower to full, aircon on and directs all air flow to screen Sorry meant that, it's bloody brilliant edit: Especially brilliant compared to a lot of cars I've owned!
  8. I really do love my 370z! So I'll have to be picky! Love: Looks - When you have kids stopping in the street and cheering you, and also giving passenger rides (Being requested to do it) to friends/family you know it's good (Ha!) Effortless Power. I came from a Fiesta ST which meant you were ragging the thing to get any power, this seems so effortless but also means you've got to be careful Sat Nav telling me there's a speed camera coming up ha ! Heated Front Windowscreen Heated Seat doesn't burn you, actually stays at a nice temperature! Cheaper on Insurance than expected Hate: Rear Heated Windowscreen is pretty bad in comparison to the front! Stock tyres seem awful, changing them to MPSS which according to the majority of people improve the car substantially ! Long Bonnet (This is being very picky) - Only because around where I live there's large bushes at every junction and junctions are tight so you've got to edge pretty far out to be able to see! VED To be fair I find the 370z fairly cheap to insure! My Fiesta ST Mk6.5 was £600 and my 370z is £738 and I'm 26. Great car though! Really is one of my dream cars (GT Academy helped me with at least driving them prior to ownership) so I'm really, really happy !
  9. Wait for a good car to be appear! I mean I got mine which was 2 and a half years old and under 7k on the clock for an absolute bargain (Auto 370z GT Edition - £20k)! So I still had some of the Nissan Warranty then the dealer then gave me their warranty once the Nissan warranty ran out! While it's not as good as Nissans it's still pretty nice to have. I did wait awhile until the right car came up though (1-2 years), so do keep an eye out, especially on this forum for cars appearing! In my 6/7 months of ownership mines been fantastic the only cost that's about to hit me is for new tyres as it's still on the old and pretty rubbish stock tyres!
  10. Love my 370z, but have always been a fan of them, even without the biased of GT Academy! However 1 thing I wasn't expecting was the amount of head turns it gets everywhere! Puts a smile on lots of peoples faces when you drive by them (Especially kids when you drive by them, I took some dash cam footage off a few months ago of some kids stopping and actually cheering ) and that's always fun ! I have a 2013 GT Edition Semi-Auto, and it's perfect for me in my mind. As a daily I can sit in Auto, if I suddenly want a play hit a paddle shift and I can have some fun as I hit the dual carriageway ! One thing to note actually is if you put your foot down in Auto the car will take a second to decide what it wants to do, but that's what paddle shift is for right ? Once you've finished your fun it will jump straight back into auto (You can of course switch to full manual mode)! The only bad thing I've found at the moment is a spider keeps making it's web across my rear view camera so you can't see a thing haha! Fortunately no spider has appeared on there, and scaring the life out of me!
  11. Congratulations on your car ! I came from a Fiesta ST150 which was at 4k revs on the motorway, so droned so I really do not notice the tyre roar (On the stock tyres). So depending on where you came from depends on whether it will bother you I imagine! Don't get me wrong I noticed it on my journey home from the dealer but that's it. It's also the quality of the roads which is an issue, new tarmac and the car is completely silent, old tarmac and it's there and that weird stuff they have on the M1 near Leeds is just ridiculous (I hardly ever drive over there but that I imagine that stuff is still there) and would be loud in any car! Personally wouldn't put me off the car, I love my 370z !
  12. The wipers can definitely be adjusted. Mine were super sensitive (And very annoying) but on the stalk you should see a range thing (looks a bit like a volume but rotates vertically) give it a few seconds on a setting and it should settle down. Mines half way up the 3rd bar I think and that seems pretty spot on!
  13. I raced the older version, good fun to drive! Semi Racing clutch to :O!
  14. Only bought my ST privately before I bought the Z and that was £4k. I have additional things on my account to stop fraud and large transfers so some additional things that might help . I bought/did it at the guys house on Sunday. Seller rang Monday and said did you transfer to right account as it's not appearing (I imagine he was a little worried!). I said it will be the bank I'll contact them on lunch (Also sent him screenshot of transfer just so he wasn't to worried that I was some conman), just before lunch bank rang me and asked if it was a legitimate transfer, everything was then ok. So just be careful if you have any additional security on your account for things like that ! You can also contact the bank before hand and let them know you may be making a substantial transfer and they can add a note to your account! I did that for the Z as I didn't want the card to decline at the dealer .
