  1. Love the look of these too. Particularly in that purple colour.
  2. Not exactly what I had in mind, it's not very flush. Think I will pass.
  3. Postcodes play a massive part in car/home insurance. All based on statistics. Burglary, car theft, breaking in, vandalism, proximity to local pub, average house price, flood risk etc all play a part in building up the risk factor. It doesn't necessarily mean you live in a good/bad area, just the facts of past claims and risk in that location. It's hard to predict and it can change up/down just as quickly.
  4. I put in a JVC double din. DB60at. Which has USB, iPhone connection, Bluetooth, DAB, CD player. It's not touchscreen but I don't want touch screen. I prefer buttons and a volume knob hence this choice.
  5. Adrian did you manage to check if these shine sideways or ahead? Really want a set but only if they shine ahead.
  6. Same boat. Baby is due in 2 weeks. Sold wife's MR2. Got her a freelander 2, so that can be our family wagon, allowing me to keep the Z. Key is getting the wife a car she and you like to drive too. That way on weekends etc it's not such an issue to leave the Z at home. I was never a 4x4 fan, but really do like the land rover. But love stepping back into the Z.
  7. I bought my rear Valance from EPRacing. Delivered on time. Good Price But product was not the best of quality GRP. Bodyshop had to spend a lot of time on it make it fit and strengthen it etc. But get a good bodyshop and it should be good.
  8. Hope all of it gets sorted quickly Adrian. Good luck with it all.
  9. Do the DRLs fit a DE 2005 ? Also do they shine the light ahead or to the sides? A lot of these shine to the side by nature of the design of the cut out. If they shine ahead and fit DE I will take a set please Adrian
  10. Male Al Pacino - Legend and would love to be his friend Robert De Niro - Another legend Will Smith - Big respect for this guy Peter Jones - Inspirational guy Female Salma Hayek - Gorgeous and hilariously funny too Kaley Cuoco - Penny from Big Bang Serena Williams - A lot of respect for her and what she has achieved Kelly Brook - Not for talking to
  11. Done that and trust me its not worth it! Jokes Dan - Le Mans was a hoot
  12. Has any put the New MPS4 on? How do they compare to the MPSS?
  13. Because a lot of our cars are roughly 10yrs+ old and over the years tolerances change. From new when everything is still perfect I agree there's probably not much benefit as the running in process is there to help. I see both points however I am still not convinced. With all the R&D and tech that car manufactures put into engines, if they felt there was "any" benefit to adding a magnet they would have I am sure. Sorry for being a cynic
  14. Happy to be shot down here but why bother with magnetic sump plugs? My reasoning being that really high end engines, Ferrari, Porsche, buggati, none of them see the need for putting a magnet on the sump out of the factory. Adding a £20 magnet on exotic engines would hardly be difficult to justify if there were any benefits. My guess is there are no benefits hence why every manufacturer is not putting them on.
  15. Great Example of a Z. My advice would be to hold out for the right buyer who appreciates it for what it is worth. In my opinion, its certainly worth your asking price Good Luck
  16. Waterless washing = Marketing BS Target market = People who know nothing about washing cars
  17. Would be awesome. Won't she want a car of her own as well though? We'll probably have a runaround car as well, never know might even still have the polo then! But for now we're going to enjoy the freedom of 2-seater driving That was my plan too, was planning on a V10 RS6 for the family wagon. Was convinced she would like it (wife loves cars) but she hated it and said no way was she having an estate! Needless to say I was gutted. Really wanted a V10
  18. nothing personal but i love this excuse against the FnF films. yet no one states the same about mission impossible or James Bond etc or someone say FnF is to unrealistic then sit down and watch the Avengers, its like hang on a minute I think its an expectation of each film. I am a massive Bond fan and love the far fetchedness of it. But its Bond. It started like that so I expect it, and embrace it. Avengers based on Sci Fi and Fantasy - So again accept it for what it is. (besides I want to be Iron Man) Fast and Furious on the other hand - started out about the underground car scene. It was about real things like, cars, modding, respect, rivalry and family. So when it has a runway that is 80 miles long with a military plane trying to take off and a scene with Dom and Letti colliding in mid air over an intersection and landing on a bonnet, not to mention driving a car out of a window in a Dubai Skyscrapper into the next building, it kind of takes the realism out if the film. It was that Realism and the underground street culture that was the allure which I love about F&F. That's why the first 5 have my vote. The rest, I will tolerate but not be excited. Just my opinion. Its not what it used to be.
