Thought I'd give CarChem Lockdown sealant a try. Lack of use and correct wash technique meant there's been very little maring or contamination build up requiring claying or tar remover. Washed and dried, this was then applied in cross hatch motion a couple panels at a time given the low single digit temperatures. It's currently sitting on top of my go to drying aid Turtle Wax hybrid sealant, albeit a few weeks old. These will either compliment each other or il be left with little to no protection in a months time. Very nice to use, easy on easy off however can imagine in the Summer months would dry on the surface rather quickly. Left it on the rear glass a tad longer than idea and the rainbow flashing proved a little firm to buff off.

Boxster/Cayman 981s or 987.2 next step, Life after Z

Definitely sounds like a car whereby an aftermarket warranty is needed, however I doubt they'd cover those particular items being classed as wear & tear. @GranTurismoEra want the badge (synonymous with poise & refinement) need to spend the £££ Followed a Cayman the other day and while lovely, below a GT4 I wouldn't say they're a manly looking car in my honest opinion. -
Looks beautiful 😍 Keep the tinkering going

Fantastic rediscovery, thanks for sharing. That 350bhp N/A car looks a right treat, very nice engine build. Tasty power considering it has OE cats still fitted. A great looking car then and among the VAG clone boxes even more so today.

Of course, thoroughly clean and degrease they sidewalls - then do it all again.

From eBay, can't find the carbon ones anymore sadly https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134179173323?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=U2fRSlGHTKG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=UVSJOLRJSwe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Nice work on fitting the exhaust, been years since actually stood up to fit a system - axle stand life. Any pics of the tips now you've brought them out a touch? These are fairly quiet on the 350z so would make sense they're the same on the 370z. I absolutely wouldn't look to cut out the resonators on the system, warranty void plus you'll gain volume and most likely loose tone. The below are what I would be looking to get to increase noise while maintaining tone. https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/exhausts/test-pipes/19156-370z-torqen-helmz-resonated-test-pipes-trq-vqhr-helmz.html 🍿

Nice one pal, which seat brackets you looking to use?

It's the little details. Least now the next time it goes in for MOT or wheel alignment, the tech will know where reverse is 😅

I've held windscreen PF and it's like a sheet of laminate.

Looks wonderful, few of us going to this later in the year with retro rides Pre 2003 only 👍 http://www.reallyretroshow.com/

Yeah agreed, my initial plan was to only have her for 2yrs 🤣

Yeah some places were asking silly money for PPF and some would just do the front bumper. Ended up having the front bumper and front part of the wings done as these are the high impact areas £365. I use my car all year round and the other evening found myself on a country road a few cars back behind a gritter, stress free no drama. 100% worth it in my opinion on the stone chip prone Z.

Good move, I wished I had it done when I first bought the car however Reaction wasn't round back then. From what I gather cars after 2010 they make really nice templates for however prior to then, they're not very good.

Extended test drive should go a long way to answering your query
