  1. Whilst waiting for my new VVT solenoid gaskets to arrive, thought I'd drain the oil catch can ahead of the Spring service. Rather that lot collected here, than sucked through the intake as a warm mist.
  2. Depends where you go of course. Front bumper only between £300-£500, complete front end £900-£1500 at a guest.
  3. Highly doubt you'll find a great condition front bumper for sale, i'd advise to have your one repainted. These cars are truly terrible for stone chips, so a refresh is your best bet - plus it gives your the opportunity to go smooth.
  4. 19'
  5. Absolutely MEGA set of wheels, can't be many of these in the UK. Got a price in mind?
  6. Quality fella in person also. Have watched that review a few times when I first had my 350z.
  7. Fantastic work and even more £££ saved too. I can highly recommend PPF for the lamps to stop them fading again.
  8. In that case, Esso also sells 99 ron
  9. Great little vid if not seen before
  10. Phew, a much nicer looking motor than the over bodied Mustang in my opinion
  11. VBH No.1 😍 Fantastic to see Sideways Sid, recently aka Sid North on board also. YouTuber done good ✅
  12. 370s have an internal oil leak, mine is an external from the cam solenoid gasket in front of the valve covers. Been weeping for a while I suspect due to age.
  13. Bless you mate, nice one for checking. Rung our local detailer and they're £53.98 for the pair sadly. I'll check out Torqen now.
  14. Nice one Alex, looking for new if available
  15. Seems it's still oil leak chasing season. My passenger side gasket DE has seen better days, although there's no leak on the driver's side it'll no doubt be in similar shape. Wondering if anyone has a pair for sale?
  16. There's one sender and the other maintains the level across the tank I think.
  17. I've found distance to empty is depending on driving still of the moment and the gauge does the same thing. I've pulled into the pits as the fuel light came on, then later from the paddock drove out off and the gauge went back up to almost 1/4 tank.
  18. Moment it saves a battery, it's paid for itself 👍
  19. Yeah I can imagine, very tight on space in there. 350z used one pcv valve and one breather port, one on each valve cover. For the 370z, Nissan felt the need to double their efforts so used x2 pcv valves and x2 breathers crankcase pressure focused. I remember clearly Andrea Preuninger head of the GT department in Porsche, saying for the 991.2 they were able to increase engine performance and one of the ways was to reduce the oil pressure. So made sense in my little mind that having a handle on crankcase pressure, would also have an effect on oil pressure - more pressure/heat, less performance. Looking forward to the build though fella ✅
  20. I have no experience with boosted setups and if it's been running like that for this long it can't be bad. If it was plumbed into the intake pre charger via a catch can, you'd get both a bit of vac and wouldn't gum the charger up. Thinking out loud, the crankcase air system isn't closed loop. On idle the pcv valve is open (one per valve cover on Z34) which would create a vacuum in the engine, so there's another two ports on the valve covers with no one way valve allowing fresh air to be drawn into the engine. When the pcv valves are closed under throttle or boost, positive crankcase pressure can vent via the valve less ports. Under boost currently the crankcase pressures aren't escaping under the aid of vac.
  21. Got the boys on the job!!! Subscribed ✅ Crankcase breather vent to atmosphere I always thought was a bad idea as you get no vac assist? plus a misty engine bay. Ideal set up would be to plumb to pre supercharger, bit of vac and fresh air.
  22. This!! These are facelift lamps which where fitted to the RevUp DE onwards. Only visual exterior HR difference was the bulge bonnet and one interior change over the RevUp......

    Exhaust Rattle

I doubt it's the exhaust at all if you barely hear a rattle when revving at stand still. I would say interior trim due to exhaust resonance.
  24. Cheers pal. The 350z has a overly round back end, so it helps to square it off nicely.
  25. I have this one TS rear diffuser
