  1. Just needed to be carried out on a warm engine x
  2. I agree reads like a mini GT3, like what Quicksilver was for the GTi range within the Peugeot family. The T part made me shake head, as the spec didn't say Touring to me. Maybe 911 FR *Fast Road, damn you Seat range.
  3. Now I love all things 911, however this version makes no sense. The 911 T *T for Touring has less kit than a standard 911 entry level car, used lightweight materials, shorter gear ratios and yet is called Touring? For touring you want longer gears, more equipment, more sound proofing for less road noise surely. I understand it's appeal over a entry level 911, but not with a name Touring?? Just seems like a new car for new car sake. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/porsche-911-carrera-t-revealed-pared-back-variant
  4. I'm based in Brum and can help out if you anywhere near-ish *sorry I'm on my phone and can't see full details. I've also cleaned out my TB and moved the butterfly when doing so, I managed to carry out the reset correctly how this MUST be done on a warm engine or up to temperature. Do the throttle position, idle control and throttle body resets one after the other.
  5. Hard pipe from airbox to throttle body looks nice
  6. 100% feel the same way in terms of any point driving for pleasure these days. Couple weekends ago myself and three other mates went for a Sunday morning drive out. Depending on route, you can really get into trouble as roads go from 50 to 30 with little warning. We went from Tywcross via Tamworth to Cannock along by far the worst road in the Midlands, the A5 east argh it was shocking. After Cannock it's not too bad but the cafe we went to was on the way to Cannock and I'm still expecting a letter through the the door.
  7. Yes however reg date wouldnt confirm which DE it had fitted. We've all seen RevUps with lower tax and early DE's that fall into the high tax range.
  8. Wouldn't confirm a thing...... RevUp has a silver ring around the individual Speedo gauge cluster.
  9. They relate to the viscosity index and warm/cold kinematic viscosity, not all 5w30's are the same. http://lubematch.shell.co.uk/gb/en_GB/browse/cars
  10. Anyone used asda tyres recently for rubbers? think the discount code has ended..........
  11. Almost 50lb-ft more than a early NSX
  12. My point was all the cars mentioned far out sell the 350z, which to most people will look and appear the exact same as a 2003 model albeit a facelift car however for significantly more outlay. To alot of people sadly its not different enough to warrant the extra cost and day to day unless you climb the revs above 6.5k you won't notice a huge difference in overall performance.
  13. Again in the realms of proper competition for a HR, to which sadly all of the below sell really well...... Just ones opinion. https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Porsche-Boxster-3-2-S-Black-Great-Example-/332400938314?hash=item4d64a3cd4a%3Ag%3AJ14AAOSwAr9ZfXrP&_trkparms=pageci%3A79ae0cb1-b1a1-11e7-92d4-74dbd180a6b2%7Cparentrq%3A1feef44a15f0abc05e5b629cfffa8b7a%7Ciid%3A6 https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-3-0-SI-SPORT-COUPE-/382217635268?hash=item58fdf245c4%3Ag%3A~G0AAOSw2DFZq77k&_trkparms=pageci%3Ac3a5c002-b1a1-11e7-a15e-74dbd180d240%7Cparentrq%3A1ff0d91115f0a990a82abc19ffff571a%7Ciid%3A10 https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Audi-TT-2-0-TFSI-S-Line-Special-Edition-3dr-/263204385188?hash=item3d483431a4%3Ag%3AaT4AAOSw49lZuQZ3&_trkparms=pageci%3A27c0e2ff-b1a2-11e7-9dc4-74dbd1806377%7Cparentrq%3A1ff3692815f0a860eb2fd935fffed585%7Ciid%3A2
  14. For me the 276bhp DE is a bit of a performance bargain, ticking just about every real world box less some elements of practicality. The HR isn't a performance bargain for the cost, as its into the realms of some very serious cars ie 9k+.

    GT-Four

    Very 02' Peugeot 206 mod
  16. Went for a Samsung 50' MU6100 from Electronic World TV. Was hoping to buy from Richer Sounds with their extended warranty, however only their Bristol branch had stock *collection only. So far has its pros and cons against the old plasma, but happy with the purchase. Plasma has better skin tones and I think a glass screen looks nicer. The LED unit wins everywhere else, processing power is fantastic compared, upscaling works really well with 1080p, kinda like 1080p+. The smart remote will take some getting used to mind, but all in good time I guess.
  17. Cheers all, will have a good look about and see what's what tomorrow. Don't fancy a new brand telly and will most likely settle on an LG, Samsung or Sony unit. Not much content out there from what I gather, but 4k seems like a no brainstorm if costs aren't too much.
  18. Actually really nice work in the caps, looks trick. But we need to swap out the air filter for......... Or Or at least..... https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/SICKSPEED-HYDROGUARD-MESH-WATER-GUARD-COVER-FOR-3-AIR-FILTER-CONICAL-ENGINE-/371981909590?var=640916940032&hash=item569bd97e56%3Ag%3A664AAOSw~rpZQZxN&_trkparms=pageci%3A81630ed0-aed1-11e7-8334-74dbd180ca82%7Cparentrq%3A0d808f4215f0ab454a1e9d86fffc84b7%7Ciid%3A23
  19. So after 6 years almost exactly, our trusty LG 50PK590 has decided to randomly turn itself off, wait and can be turned back on but then after a few minutes off again. This weekend I'm going to buy it's replacement and another 50' unit. Any recommendations? not overly interested in voice control, hand gestures, webcam and doesn't need to have the best operating system or apps as il be using the Amazon fire stick anyways. Budget £500-£600 Bye bye PK590.......
