  1. Agreed. Dude, you got mad skills with spanners!! You must be able to place the nose on a dime now.
  2. Gains no doubt, isn't the trade off with longevity for rose joints compared to oe setup? Not so much an issue for a track car, but for a daily something to consider.
  3. Tar fella, skills amateur passion and patience epic levels. Years back I did an audit of inventory, another is well overdue.
  4. Honoured for that to have been your 1st post too She's a keeper for sure pal.
  5. Raise a case yourself with gb@nissan-services.eu
  6. No better feeling than walking up to your car, at the end of the working day.
  7. Looking good fella, if possible have the instructor take you out. It'll open your mind to what's possible and you'll have a better idea from the get go of turn in points, where to go quick and where to go slow. Agreed the 350z is awesome on track!!! Car looks good, look forward to the updates. Edit: just read all the post and a pro driver initial went out.
  8. Decided to try and make that the last time I have to machine polish the headlamps for a good while. My options were to either clear coat or wrap. Having seen other Zeds with wrapped lamps, I thought I'd give it a go. Over the moon with the results and it's really changed to overall look of the car. Increasingly alot of manufactures fit smoked look lamps to thier sportier models, so I'm considering an OEM+ modification............. almost. Wrapped items: Headlights Side Indicators Rear Indicators Door Handles Not terrible for a first attempt, so just have to see how the application holds up. Possibly a few interior part to be done also, without wanting to go over the top.
  9. They were Torqen HFC's....... Thing is now the car is running sweet!!
  10. Hard to imagine Injen wouldn't be a plug and play affair. IF the new cats were at fault (very possible) you've now made the cat back system ALOT harder to move on, if you ever wished to sell. For the wheels, maybe a colour change ie bronze, candy or gloss black to jazz em up?
  11. Lovely back end!! Zed Love right there. Shocking that two pieces of quality exhaust parts weren't compatible for a home install. Oddly no fitment issues with the cheaper HFC....... Personally as they are now, imo these factory wheels hold this car back from being great.

  13. +1 to the above I use this 10:1 via a pump sprayer
  14. I've corrected for you *damn this interweb
  15. Looks a lovely job!! Well worth doing sooner rather than later. Your car looks every bit as good as that 996 too.
  16. Tidy pal, that y-pipe and hfc's will complement the plenum spacer a treat!! Bring on the noise. What size spacers all round did you go for? 15/20.....
  17. Cheers, chap I have he same in mine. Something the previous owner hand done, but mated it to the stock dmf. I do like exedy stuff, had a XTD stage 1 clutch and lightweight flywheel in my old GTi. The clutch was pants, but flywheel was good. Clutch feel was harsh, but tbf it gripped like a mofo and could beat on all day long. Went to a oe spec clutch, feel was again lovely and light however after a pulls on the highway I would start to smell.
  18. And sounds epic. Any pictures of the clutch you picked up?
  19. Good you got home at least!!!! Will there be any dash cam footage on track?
