    Tango.

Finally managed to get some pictures (only taken eighteen months!) on here. He's been trouble free and very enjoyable. I have now decided to sell the car but cannot use the forums "For sale" to post as I havn't posted enough. It will be advertised, probably on Car & Classic, but if anyone is interested or knows someone then please PM me. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for that, I don't know what is actually fitted but I think the car is pretty much how it left the factory and doesn't seem to have had a hard life, so I will investigate and report when I have a free hour or so.
  3. Hi all, In yesterdays (18/06/17) very hot weather a slight anomaly arose with my 2006(Sept) 350z when the clutch pedal, whilst biting ok and no issues with gear change or slipping, took a few seconds longer to return to it's up position. It was only the last 1" or 2 and once I had left the town I was driving through did not repeat itself. I wasn't/don't ride the clutch and had only been stopped at a couple of sets of lights. As I said it didn't affect the working of the clutch and has not repeated it self so maybe nothing of concern, just wondered if it was one of the quirks of the car. Thanks for any advice that may be forthcoming Clive.
  4. My recently bought 2006 Sunset orange roadster has the GT pack but it has black leather seats but all the images I have found have the seats you're asking about, so although this doesn't answer your question I don't think the GT would have had them as an option, perhaps they are not heated which is standard on the GT spec. My apologies if I am wrong ,you're never to old to learn.
  5. Yes of course that's true, run out of fuel you stop, run out of brake fluid you don't. I think I was wondering why such a small drop in the level should affect the ABS/EPS in such a way as to put the warning lights on for their systems but not the level it self, after all hydraulic brakes are a sealed system so unless there is the danger of allowing air into it by allowing the fluid to get dangerously low, and I am sure there must be a safety margin built into the level indicator, it's a bit of a sledge hammer to crack a nut. Although I suppose hard cornering could allow this to happen as the fluid moved about. Just a thought no scientific or special knowledge implied. Clive
  6. the lfuid level doesnt need to be low to cause this fault , a little below the max line can cause it Thanks for that, worth remembering , rather defeats the object of a warning light if the system is that sensitive though.
  7. If the fluid was that low wouldn't the level indicator light be on ? I am new to the 350z but my earlier post was based on my Jaguar XK8 problem so may differ on these cars.
  8. The "tap" at the pedal sounds as if the ABS is working constantly, you may want to try cleaning the ABS sensors as I believe they influence the EPS as well. An OBD 2 code would be helpful in isolating the problem.
  9. Hi all, Just thought I would introduce myself. I bought a 2006 (Sept.) sunset orange 350z roadster a couple of weeks ago and first impressions are very favourable. A couple of minor issues, some "crazing" on the front bumper which could have been done by whoever transported it from Lancashire to Buckinghamshire where I bought it ( the cover for the towing point was removed and in the car) and the rear brake discs will need replacing sooner then later, both easily, if not cheaply corrected. It is my first 350z ,having sold a Jaguar XK8 drop head last year, I was having withdrawal symptoms that my other sports car, a 1974 Triumph TR6, couldn't fulfil, although it is great fun to drive. Hopefully will post some pictures in the future. Cheers for now. Clive
