  1. I really need to use Turtlewax hybrid sealant more!!! Going to start using Fusso speed and see how I get on. How was wet coat applied wrong? It was applied wet and spread over the panel! Present tested evidence that this application is detrimental to its performance. Happy to hold my hands up, however until then you are clutching at straws with your argument.
  2. Meguiar's appeared to win both dry and wet applications....... Edit Wet coat applied both dry and wet. Unless you've performed the same test and had different results, the conclusion remains the same.
  3. Some folks says yes, others say no. Best to have a drive if both and see what you think. Characteristics of the two engine is different too, HR is more rev happy with an extra 1000rpm to use.
  4. For that budget, I'd recent aiming for a good early model GT 03-05 rather than a tired later model HR 07-09.
  5. I personally have seen no evidence that the product was hamstrung in the application shown in the video. See the post below from a member of the detailing world review team with many thousands of thanks and many pages of official forum reviews......
  6. Only thing I will say is Meguiar's state for first application that it's to be applied in the way shown in the video, so for a fair side by side both products were tested in exactly the same way and the cheaper product came out on top.
  7. Well well well Really makes me want to do the same test against Turtlewax hybrid sealant.
  8. Cracking update, we need a proper build thread and and few under shorts of the custom exhaust. I'm very much a fan of custom exhaust as these can be made to spec exactly how the owner likes, visually and sound wise - plus in most cases with lifetime warranty.
  9. I've previously used Autoglym Interior Shampoo, Vinyl & Rubber care and Autobrite Pink Sheen, so interested to see how I get on with Auto Finesse Total. Seems a bit of a miracle product on Detailing World.
  10. Thread wake, good review for us 18' users....
  11. Nissan UK brought one in pre release to our work a while back, so had a good nose round.
  12. Looks on point, love corporate backdrops
  13. Another quarantine job dealt with so I can relax for a bit. Wife and daughters went out for the afternoon, so made a swift start on tidying up. Looked online at shelving for ideas and the thought of popping out to stand in a queue for ages didn't sit well. Remembered some off cut fencing we had, so thought why not. Still loads of kit to sort out, but that can be another day.
  14. To be fair I'm the same, I'm like a biker checking the forecast for the next day to see which vehicle il use tomorrow. If its forecast rain, the little beater stands in. Not that the 350z is an overly special car (it is to me) but knowing that it's road spray dirty, will mean setting aside a couple hours to put right some time soon. Where as had I not driven it, it would still be clean and I'd save myself a couple hours by forward planning. Its the OCD car life tale sadly and I know Lewis and a few others are the same.
  15. I would personally buy a new set, will transform the look and feel on road.
  16. Must be a decent tyre if the owner had them fitted to a Massa lol
  17. Learn something every day, do you need to ring it out and will it dry the car in one go?
