Even with Berks you have no guarantee for MOT pass. oh! I read quite a few posts on here that people who had them passed their MOts I suppose nothing is guaranteed.

I've been behind a van and noticed that the ladder was moving freely on top of the van. I kept well back at the traffic lights. He pulled away and down it came. Could come through my windscreen if I hadn't noticed.

You want to buy high flow cats that will still get you through an MOT. I wouldn't ebay it for that reason. Get something quality that you'll only have to put on once and know that it'll pass an MOT. A lot of people go for Berks HFCs. HTH.

I imagine that when Hot Rodding became popular there were not a set of rules that were gospel to the recipe, i.e how much you spent qualified a Hot Rod, or what you intend it to do. The nature of modding cars is usually expensive anyway. I'd put it down to what you've done to the car rather than how much you spent on it.

Fact of the matter is, your wheels were damaged by quick fit. They should sort it out one way or another. Ekona has said it all for me.

Personally, I think if you're changing the appearance of a car to your own personal taste (not necessarily making bespoke parts yourself) and making it go faster than it was intended to, I think that can qualify as being a Hot Rod. Yes, it was of an era where the cars of that era were used and were continued to be used well after they had stopped being made, that was just the fashion. It has evolved, perhaps unwittingly, but in the shape of more modern European and JDM cars.
