  1. I've never had a blow through one so wouldnt know
  2. You are blowing metered air out of the system , the engine goes rich and stutters , its very common and happens with vent to air dump valves as well
  3. http://www.zimotorsport.com/ In Wrexham are down on the WON list of installers perhaps they could install it
  4. I killed my afm when my dump valve started to play up on my Skyline, removing them can also make the car stall every time you come to a stop, that gets old fast , a blow off valve serves a useful job Also my wastegate on my Evo used to make a hell of a noise they are known for it
  5. Nav equipped 370z will cut dvd playback based on the gps speed as well hence you need the bypass kit , and if you are using the dvd playback capability (Some use this to display gauges via the OBD) you lose the gps signal to the nav
  6. There should be two rubber grommets that the pegs on the bottom push into and one bolt at the top
  7. Wastegate and dump valve are two totally different things
  8. Some people run errands in their drag cars A mate of mine ran his 7 second turbo Hayabusa on the roads as well
  9. Probbaly just worn out links then so stock length should be fine , I'm more a fan of stock replacements to be honest , first thing I did to my car was swap out the SPL links for stock ones Doing it on jacks will be fine but might take a little longer
  10. Not used the whiteline ones but have used other adjustable ones 1) No issues doing them on a ramp just do one side at a time and the roll bar should stay where its put 2) I adjusted mine to the stock length, you will have to expand on your knocking issue
  11. Dealers only have cars that people have wanted shot of, if so many 350 and 370 owners did just bung them back to the trade when the big bills were looming the trade would have better stuff to sell! Truth is I hadn't planned to get rid of my 370z it was only the opportunity of buying the same model and colour but already with the all the mods I had wanted to do that pried me from it , had I known i would be moving it on I wouldn't have spent so much money on the old car, my loss will the be the new owners gain
  12. You are welcome Steve, thanks for the feedback, hope the car drove significantly better afterwards
  13. Yeh that is your old car Rich i tracked it from BCA auctions where it was sold last tuesday,i knew where it would end up.Incidentely looks like G/mans car is at BCA edinburgh next week, cant miss it with the decals. 6 months (or so) younger than mine, 10k miles less than mine but nearly £4000 more Can't see them getting that asking price for it ,at least not in my world. As i said its the same as i paid for it back in 2013 with 25k and only 2 years old , but as always asking price is just that
  14. I wonder how much it went for at auction, do you know , i reckon £17500
  15. I filled all the bird feeders yesterday morning , by teatime they had all been trashed by the squirrels and were empty
  16. Cant help this might be my old car coming into stock shortly http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/370z/nissan-370-z-3-7-gt-2dr/5558865?v=b It was on 35k , 2012 White GT edition auto , in all fairness its a cracker in great condition and with all new brakes and great history Mind you that price is what I paid Nissan for it when I bought it back in 2013 !
  17. Great project !. I'm looking at bumper options for my GT Edition
  18. I felt I was justified on my 34 as it had a Nismo exhaust, bodykit and few other items I dont like to see GTR badges on non GTR Skylines either but ultimatly when its your own car you make the rules so do whatever you like
  19. My toolboxes, dont really need them espcialliy since I started at H-Dev but nice to have
  20. I have motordyne ones on my car with an Ark Grip exhaust , its pretty loud, I think Blobbish's car with milltek and japspeed is quieter
  21. Variable to be honest, but these decats are pretty good in our experience
  22. What year is the car ? Very unlikely to be the oil pump
