    MOT advisory

That will be the drop link , there are a few on the market but imo stock ones are fine.
  2. Japanese manufacturers rarely do well in Auto Express I went from a 350 HR to the 370z , put it this way I wouldnt go back , not that I am blind to the 370's many flaws
  3. Funny you say that as the Leaf is quicker to 60 than the Focus The only think cheap about the Leaf is the running cost they are expensive to buy
  4. Not my figures Mark , just something I found
  5. I'm not doubting the authenticity of an Auto Express test, and I've never driven a 2.3 Mustang or a 350Z BUT, When ever i watch or read these car tests and reviews there only giving their opinions, fill a room with 50 so called experts and you will get 50 different opinions. For me a 370z gives a big bang for a reasonable ammount of money, Yes there's faster and better but probably at alot more money. Absolutely there is a good reason there are so many different makes and models of cars available, different people want different things There is a lot of stuff a lot cheaper than the 370s and 350s that is much quicker, you dont have to buy something significantly older either like the BM's mentioned and the Cayman, a 14' Golf R for example is cheaper than 14 plate 370z , even a mapped Golf GTI would walk all over a 370z .
  6. http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/dyno.htm Just to muddy the waters further I found this calculator that offers a comparison between different makes of dyno
  7. The social aspect is important to some people and i would suggest its important to many 350 and 370z owners , hell some people stay on the forum even after they have sold the car
  8. I'd have a Holden over the M3 as the Holden has more character , has a strong identity and solid owners club and is rare and interesting, the BM might be better in every way but its just not that special
  9. Landrover Freelander 1.8i , dreadful car sold as the warranty ended , seemed to need work every 6 weeks
  10. Holden/Vauxhall VXR as a used , mustang as a new
  11. The finance stays on the car though so even if you buy it in good faith you still are stuck with the whole selling a car on finance thing
  12. Nissan are still struggling to sort the steering locks and clutch slave cylinders on 370z 8 years on !
  13. Well it puts buyers off , not everyone clears the finance when they sell the car leaving the new owner with a car they dont legally own and one the finance will repossess leaving them with nothing Pay off the finance and then sell the car , or trade it in anything else would ring alarm bells for a purchaser
  14. I wouldnt buy a car still on finance
  15. I could make a leaf work for me also , unfortunatly my daily is the family car and the 370z cant assume those duties The wife drives a Prius and 80% she could make one work but once a week she does a 100 mile round trip and has no charging facilites on site Its a shame , I could get a Tesla (I'm saving for a GTR) and get rid of the daily and the 370z , but £100k is a big wedge of dough
  16. No it wont , it can be difficult getting a car fitted HFC through the mot emissions test , they need to be very hot and even then many are borderline
  17. Just in case you meant me when you said Jez.. I wasn't offering to install it ! Just suggesting installers local to you ! We couldn't do it for some weeks if at all , its not rocket science though plenty of install guides on the web
  18. As Wasso said installing and tuning two different things , you could get it installed and set up with 25hp jets and then get it mapped with the bigger jets later
  19. Audi were far from first there is a long history of this
  20. Read post 28 , how the air is directed through an afm is important let alone the difference between drawing nice cold air in , compressing it and mixing it with other vapour and then blowing it back through the turbo
  21. In this case arent we talking about the stock 370z nav system ? Bypass kit here http://www.carkitcompany.com/nissan-370z/nissan-370z-bypass-switch Bypass explained here http://www.carkitcompany.com/general/bypasses-explained
  22. The maf cant accuratly read the air being blown back past it the wrong way
