  1. I have returned my car back to stock , it was always a garage queen and only taken out on sunny days and think these pics show that Exhaust system sold Decats still available Set of Decats - unknown make I bought them used £50 Pair of HPS silicone intake pipes - meant to make a few hp but they look nice - £100 posted or collected from H-dev for £90
  2. I think I bought these from Bodyman, but my plans have changed and they are now going spare
  3. 350's arent immune, ive seen a 2005 plate with serious rust
  4. cool thanks , have pm'd Wasso as well
  5. Anyone know who does plenum polishing ?
  6. Me too my last one I swapped the plate before trading it in , never thought to tell them and all the paperwork came through based on a plate that was on my 370z rather than the Skoda It was meant to be
  7. If you dont agree to it then you shouldnt sign it , you cant even fit a personal plate without permission If its under finance its not your car
  8. its in my ts and c's on my VWFS agreement , no modifications without approval
  9. The finance company is usually VWFS on new cars , I cant comment on other companies as I haven't looked at their T's and C's but they arent alone by any means http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5635710-TD1-warranty-flag
  10. We recomend every 2 years the same as brake fluid
  11. The engine is either in good shape or not, if its ok then no reason not to make a few upgrades its not like the increase with have a dramatic effect, if the engine isnt in good shape then tuning is the least of your problems
  12. I can only speak for VAG stuff it's in the finance agreement and part of the process of a warranty claim requires a ecu check, if the image isn't the same as stock then the system automatically flags it up . I don't think a faulty seat would trigger it but a gearbox fault would resulting in a rejected claim despite the remap not causing the issue . There was a guy on the Seat forum who fell foul of it when a simple failure caused his car to stop working , nothing to do with the remap . There have been quite a few turbo failures on Golf R's , again a manufacturing flaw but warranty claims have been rejected if the car is not stock , as these cars respond so well to a remap it could be a big issue down the line , a dsg box runs to quite a few grand
  13. A remap can invalidate the warranty on VAG products , it's also against the finance agreement resulting in you having to pay the entire amount off in one go including the gfv
  14. Nice car , not a GT Edition though but with most of the goodies the 2012 GT Edition has that later became standard
  15. Typical trader price for a low miles car, could probably get a 12 plate GT Edition for the same money privately
  16. Not a gt edition wont have the camera although they can be retrofitted
  17. Reverse camera was standard from 2014 I believe , no DAB radio i dont think , not on any models so far
  18. Premium discs wll be grooved or drilled or both , you wont find a premium disc for the 370 that isnt. Genuine Nissan will be no better than EBC
  19. thats why they chose an Indian , 6 Guy Martins is the same weight as one middle aged American
  20. Are you sure the EBC discs were fitted correctly , if the faces arent prepared correctly they can warp? Eurocarparts do stock Brembo but dont have anything for the 370z only the GTR (R35) As Adrian said DBA's are the best quality that are widely available but they are pricey, personally I cant help think that EBC should be fine if fitted correctly.
  21. I'm not so sure, you do hear this argument a lot but new cars depreciate the same whether you pay cash or on credit and "renting" a depreciating asset makes more sense in some ways than buying IF you do choose credit ie PCP or HP its often a condition that you have FSH from a dealer and that can be £600 at least over 3 years so its a significant amount, on my previous car it was more than the cost of credit. If you can borrow the money instead of using your savings AND get a return on your own money you'd be mad to use your savings to finance a new car Of course its cheaper to buy a 2 or 3 year old one instead and there is a lot to be said for that but not everyone wants a used car, its a special day picking up your brand spanking car with delivery miles on it Taking all that on board I'd be looking at the Focus RS as well but its a 4 door and quite anonymous compared the Honda and I really cant see it being as "cult" as the previous model but who knows, you need to look at the figures
  22. Yep Jez road mapped my Skyline, you wont get him doing it now though and he will be the first to admit its not ideal, taking a car around the block just to check it isnt road mapping and we still do that. Mapping cars like this on the road is sheer lunacy, think back to what happened to Tweenierob, you are advocating driving at well over 100mph with a total stranger who quite often has driving standards that leave a lot to be desired. Also Simon JGM is no longer with us either but where possible he would use a dyno as well. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/8312990.stm
  23. Uprev is just a software package , there are alternatives, most people just choose works for them
  24. The embroidered ones were discontinued over 2 years ago , I doubt you will find any , not the thing most dealers would stock
  25. If you don't trust the mapper it would make no difference whether they use road or not Any mapper that doesn't use a dyno is an amateur imo and best avoided but each to their own
