Bearing in mind that the Stillen intake hose touches the standard rad, any thicker radiator will cause fitment issues, the fan shroud isnt as much of an issue as its easier to work around

Lots of modern engines can only get to that kind of mileage with exoensive repairs though. Replacing a motor or battery pack on aTesla for example is quick and easy

I dont believe you "have" to pay separately for the battery its just that its packaged that way to make consumers feel more comfortable and ally the concerns (Based on rumours) about a battery lasting 3 years and costing £8k to replace

Yours should be fine George the oil pressure was still well within reccomended range. Oil pressure is resistance to flow , if the oil can escape past the gasket then there is less resistance to the flow so less pressure everywhere. We havent seen enough to determine a pattern as to how they fail over time, I guess you could have either a worsening oil pressure issue or a sudden failure. The oil isnt pumped out of the engine its simply running back down into the sump instead of continuing around the moving parts

You lose oil pressure. A few engine failures on 370's in the US have been blamed on gasket failures

yes low oil pressure can cause the idle to stick higher and become erratic , although I have to say If I was to buy an HR I would budget to replace the gaskets anyhow

Looks nice enough, check the oil pressure is good when hot and the idle isnt erratic or too high

True but our use is dropping year and year and has been for some time, refining fuel uses a lot of electricity also and since electric cars are more efficient its better to use that power to power cars rather than refine the fuel which then goes onto power cars

You'd rent one , just like if the same situation happened now My longest journey last year was Newbury to Bruges (Its in Belgium;)) , had I used a Tesla instead it would have made no difference at all in the journey in time or inconvenience

We are Ecutek dealers as well, but up until now we havent felt the need to use it much on the 370 , its something we will be offering in the next few weeks though due to the extra features that are available with Ecutek
